The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Ok shape but over priced
Used to golf here a few times per year but will not be returning anytime soon.

A Gem in central Florida

Good Course For All Skill Levels
Falcon's Fire is a good course for players of all skill levels. They offer different tees so you can choose your level of difficulty. For the most part, the course is pretty wide open. The course was in above average condition given the hot and rainy weather the area has been experiencing. The green speeds were average to slow which is probably appropriate for the variety of skill levels playing the course. The staff was courteous. Pace of play was very good for a course that gets a lot of play. I will play here again.

Horrible, horrible, horrible
READ THIS! I am a six handicap and my daughter plays D1 Golf at Western Illinois University. We played this course On Friday July 5th. I thought there was no way that two or three golfers can leave horrible reviews and then two or three golfers can leave five stars so I took a chance on the course because of its reputation. Shame on me! When you pull into this golf course you get a sense that the property is really amazing. The practice screen was beautiful but a little slow. The driving range is excellent and that’s where the good ends. This course is horrific. Please listen to this because if you spend $75 to play this course, you will be furious! If they gave me two free rounds for I would not go back. It is horrible beyond horrible. The superintendent should be fired immediately. They make excuses when you’re done golfing, And say things like “yes, we have not had any rain”. But that is not the problem. The problem is their superintendent has no idea what he’s doing, and the golf course probably gives him no money to spend. They do not water this chorus, they do not fertilize this course and they do not care for it. The greens are so over seeded and overgrown that I thought they were bentgrass! Not only are the fairways horrible, but there were holes in the middle of the green so that you have to move your ball several feet to avoid. There are hazards next to the greens that are so horrible that you can actually get seriously injured on. Please see the photo. This course should be closed. It is horrifically bad! And any good review you have read about this courses is fake I don’t care if it says “verified purchase” or not. This course is horrendous! There are weeds in the middle of some of the green greens. There is no grass in major portions of the fairways and next to many of the greens. Courses in the near vicinity that I would recommend. Celebration golf club is fantastic! Orange County national was also excellent! And of course, any of the Disney courses. If you want to travel a little outside Orlando and save some money but play a beautiful course, You can play blackbear, or royal St. Cloud. Both of those blue this piece of garbage golf course out of the water and they only cost $55 to play. I’m trying to do you a favor, but if you want to listen to the lying reviews, then throw your money away. This is garbage garbage garbage, And it would take five years to get it back in shape.
I think someone had a bad round and is blaming the course conditions. I stand by my review. I played the course the same day and the conditions were not horrible. Other than a few bare spots on the greens, that generally were no where near the flag, the greens were ok. IMO this was not a fair review.

Glad we played here!
After reading some negative reviews I decided to book a round. I’m so glad we played here.
Despite there having been a ton of rain the previous afternoon the course, although with some small areas of standing water, was otherwise very playable.
The course condition was very good and the greens were in great condition. Far too good for my putting though!
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend playing here and hope to get another round before we head home.

Very fun layout
To state the obvious; the course was in pretty rough shape, as is a lot of other courses in the area. Didn’t help we got a crap ton of rain night before so bunkers were full of water or just wet. The layouts really fun, it’s very challenging. We had troubles with our cart the staff was very friendly came out with a new cart for us. Would play again it’s a good course for the price we played just sucks everything is so dried out and dying right now.

Iconic course not so iconic condition
As the title says, always wanted to play this one but the condition leaves a lot to the imagination. Where do you start, well the T-boxes obviously, these where untidy with rubbish etc lying around, uncut and generally distressed. The fairways where really not much better , I know you could argue that the course has had a lot of rain lately but hey I’m from Ireland and these where only showers, our fairways are lush,
Ok I could go on but I enjoyed the course and the round, would I play again, of course I would and it wouldn’t bother me, just tidy the place up or your gonna be out gunned by the up and coming courses.

Nice course but conditions #
Always wanted to play this course and yes I’m glad I did but not sure if it’s the weather or just showing its age but it’s in a terrible state I’m sorry to say. The fairways were poor with miss or thatch growing through and bald patches making it look more sparse than a links course. The greens where pitted and rough around the edges, yes this is also down to poor gamesmanship from fellow players failing to repair pitch marks etc… Even the tee boxes where uneven and badly maintained, could do with at least being cleaned up. Would I play again, probably not but would still tell someone to play, u never know.

Just plain awful
The course was a joke. There is absolutely no fairway or rough. The entire course is a huge patch of hardpan or just bald patches. There is absolutely no effort to maintain the course and it does not measure up against any of the similarly priced courses in the Orlando area. The two redeeming features are the greens and the greenside bunkers. They were both in good shape. The greens were not yet aerated. Please do not believe any of the other ecstatic reviews on this site.

Nice round overall
The lack of rain has clearly taken its toll on the course, but it’s a nice layout — love all of the dunes — and most of the staff were very friendly. Pace of play was very good.
