About
Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

Good Value, Course Needs Work
Nice wide fairways, large greens and plenty of hills. I'm sure this was a top-notch course in it's day. However, course condition is so-so now. Greensroll true but have bare spots. Many bare spots, overgrown weeds, etc in the fairways and rough. Would play again because the price is good.
Fun to play.
The course was fun to play. Greens were a little inconsistent but not bad.
Needs Work
Greens and bunkers need help!! Everything else is ok.
Long
Too many yards for the elderly. I did find a tee-it-forward on 1-8, then the purple tee box was not on 9-18..
Rain
They should have closed the course. To much water on the course
Soggy round
Got in our round around a long rainy day! But course was in great shape, staff was friendly and helpful and the lunch was wonderful! Highly recommend.
