Scenic Hills Country Club
About
Unlike many other courses in the state, Scenic Hills Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of rolling hills. In addition to the dramatic elevation changes throughout the course, the holes are sharply framed by towering pines that line the fairways. The holes play to generous putting surfaces that provide a variety of hole placements, but its best to play to the middle of the greens since there are strategically placed bunkers guarding all of the greens. Water hazards also come into play on six holes, but they require only minimal forced carries. Scenic Hills C.C. opens with what is arguably its most challenging holes. The par-4 hole plays downhill to a green that is not only protected on both the left and right with bunkers, but there is also a steep-faced bunker that is not visible from the fairway.

Great
Course is in great shape. Green are super quick but receptive. I’ll be back
Course in great condition
Played Father’s Day round here course is in great shape and they are doing more repairs now.
Memorial Day at Scenic Hills
Course in great shape. Greens rolling well overall. Just a few spots here and there they are working to improve. Great value. Pace of play was excellent.
A great place to play
The course was an excellent condition the staff was great and the pace of play was wonderful and great great place
EZ does it
Roll it EZ on the greens because they are very fast and true. Beautiful course nice layout. Challenging but fun. Really like the GPS features on the cart. Will play again for sure. Really nice clubhouse and friendly staff
Great for the $$
Got a last minute deal and was well worth the money.. course was rough from lack of rain but kept up..my only complaint was a large tournament that we were placed in the middle of.. made it quite slow but the people were great! We will be back!
Thanks
Thank you for the Tee-IT-Forward for this 74 year old high handicapper. I improved my score by 10 strokes. Now the fairways could use a little help.
Best golf for $39
12 handicap here.. shot a surprising 83 today. This course is fun and in great shape for $40. Most surprisingly, the greens were pretty dang good. They didn’t look beautiful, but they rolled really smooth (which is what actually matters). The people were also great. Pro shop guy was nice, the members that I ran in to were also nice. So definitely a good atmosphere.
For some additional perspective, I traditionally play in Destin and Navarre where golf can be grossly overpriced and overrated. So this was a very refreshing experience. Would highly recommend.
Not played them all but Scenic Hills is in better shape than any of the lower priced courses around.
I am not going to name them but Scenic Hills is in the best condition of any of the courses that cost less than $40 tp play. In addition they have an active program of repairing tee boxes.
Great Course!!
The course played great and pretty challenging. Would definitely play there again!!
Long
This courses has no tee-it-forward, especially for this 74 year old woman.
"Semi-Private"
Scenic hills wants to call itself a semi-private course but let's just call it what it is, a public course. It's very clear that they had attempted to be private but couldn't keep the course running as a private course therefore they had to convert it to a public course. One thing they did keep from the conversion to a public course was the arrogance of the staff thinking that they were above needing non-member patrons to play their. Many questions that were asked regarding course layout and rules and payment were met with eye rolls and sighs essentially saying "if you don't know I'm not going to tell you". The pace of Play was so incredibly slow that even with a first time golfer in our foursome we were still catching up to groups in front of us. I don't think I would ever go back for the money I spent on the round. As to not end on a sour note the two best parts of our experience where the Marshall and the cart girls who were all extremely friendly.
