Nashboro Golf Club

Most people do not know how much this course has improved over the last couple of years. They should really give it a try if they have not played it since it was in very bad condition a few years back. Great,interesting, and challenging layout. Very smooth and fast miniverde burmuda greens and excellent fairways. Very good value for your golfing dollar

One of the best places to play close to Nashville. The course is well maintained and the greens are fast and true. Some people need education on fixing divots. Otherwise I would highly recommend this course for anyone!

Terrible experience.

Ready to play my second shot on the first hole and the owner comes by, sees my Gatoraid bottle in the cup holder in the cart and tells me it isn't allowed on the golf course. (95 degrees out and only tap water on the course)

Says he's made a deal with Poweraid, or some other off-brand, and "gave his word" not to allow any Gatoraid on the course.

When I objected he was extremely rude, said he didn't care if I left and refused to refund my money.

TOTAL JERK

We had words and he threatened to call the police if I ever returned.

I've been around golf for over 60 years and never been treated so poorly or run into such a complete jerk around a golf course. (supposed to be fun)

Stay away.

The course is pretty much a cow pasture anyway.

I only went there out of convenience but obv won't be returning.

The course was in great shape. The greens ran true and the fairways lies played exceptionally.

Compared to other courses in the area the price for this course does not match the condition it was in. It is well sitiuated and the layout was nice but it seems to have a lack of care or only fair conditions. Arriving at the clubhouse we did not feel welcomed, that was the impression . I have golfed in many areas around the world, so I can definately say it is under average for the cost. We were disappointed and that has not happened to often.

Staff is unfriendly, conditions are always terrible. I don't know they have a single 5 star review with how bad the greens are. By far the worst course in Nashville, especially for what they charge. Never going back, wouldn't recommend this course to anyone.

Chose this course because of other positive reviews. We were not disappointed. Just enough of a challenge to keep it interesting. Course was in good shape. Definitely recommend this course.

I highly do not recommend this golf course. The course manager was rude and disrespectful, lied to me, overcharged me by $160 (I had a group of 9 people), and after everything would not correct the charge. The course was in terrible condition. There was no difference between the fairway and rough. The greens were awful. The sand could hardly be called sand and there were close to no interesting features to the course that made it enjoyable to play. I will NEVER be coming back to this course and I left angry and incredibly disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and please choose a different golf course to play at.

In town on business and considered many options. Glad I chose this one!! Only negative is the bunkers were hard. Other than that, great experience.

I haven't played here in a couple of years because in my opinion the course got in pretty bad shape. Made a last minute tee time with some buddies and we where all surprised, the course was in great condition and we all decided that we will have to put it back on our to play list.

Love the course, except for 2 things...

The bathrooms on the course make you wish for an outhouse, simply third world...

Sand traps are more like cement.

But, I will go back as the course lay out is fun yet challenging and the pace has been good each time I played.

I enjoyed my round and met some good guys. The greens were not terribly fast but okay. The problem I had were all pins had same color flag and you couldn't tell if pin was in front, middle, or back. Overall the course has a lot of potential for growth and I remember this course was one of best to play in Nashville years ago. I hope they keep the course in shape and hopefully get it back to immaculate stature.

Played in 4 hrs. Great day. Course is improving every yr. Great staff.

First time I played Nashboro. The course was in fine shape and the greens were good. I birdied two of the par 3's and made a couple of pars. The rest of the round wasn't so hot and can be disregarded:). Will definitely play here again.

Played this course a week or so ago. Greens were long and SLOW probably only a 9 stemp. Today much improved, at least in the 10 to 10.5 range. Course is really coming around with warmer temps and rain. Senior rate of 28 dollars even beats GolfNow.

Very good public play course. Will test your game and make you use all your clubs. Greens were fantastic,particularly for this time of the year. Very smooth with good speed.
