I wouldn't play this course again if they paid me too. What a waste of a decent layout. This course is screaming for some care and maintenance. It could be great. Unfortunately, it's god awful. Fairways and greens looked like the salt flats. Our group had to move countless balls off of baked out sand and dirt patches of fairways onto closest patch of grass we could find. On the greens we had to move balls several feet so as to not putt over what resembled steamrolled mulch.

The one good aspect was pace of play. We only saw a two-some, walking, the entire time we were out there.

We had a foursome play 18 holes - the vast majority of the fairways and greens are in horrendous shape. The sand bunkers were full of water and not raked, nor was there a rake anywhere to be found.

The fact that they are charging people to play on the course is quite comical. Do yourself a favor - go play at Chesapeake Bay in Rising Sun, Furnace Bay in Perryville, your back yard, literally anywhere else is in better shape...

This course is in such Poor condition it should be closed or sold. This course also doesn’t drain well at all and we were informed that it was cartpath only today twice within eight holes and we just had to leave because it was a sloppy mess . The fact that the Rangers are concerned about destroying this disgraceful course that is not maintained at all by the patrons using golf carts on it is unthinkably backwards. Without patrons you don’t have a course to worry about. I have never thought the $10 is too much to charge for around of golf until today . If anyone sees this review please just save your money and play somewhere else

Played this course many times over the years, including once earlier this season, and I really enjoy the layout. At that time the conditions were improving, so we put it back on the rotation. Unfortunately conditions have deteriorated to the point where it’s simply not enjoyable; mostly weeds on tee boxes and fairways and greens in rough shape.

Tee boxes were bad, fairways were terrible, greens were worse... needs lots of work.

I love the layout. I enjoy the course immensely. To be honest though its in such bad shape. Some tee boxes have no grass. Fairways are hurting. Greens are hurting.

It's a $10 round. I love playing there but it needs so much work. For the money i will continue to play.

I have played this course quite a bit. It has a great layout, play was fast but the fairways and some of the greens are burning out again after recovering a few weeks ago

Played a lightning fast 18 today. We were forced to play best ball because of a tournament. The course is getting there I will say they are working hard. Due to the all the rain we received lately grass is growing, the roughs and fringe areas on some holes hadn't been cut. Had issues locating balls just of the fairways which normally wouldn't be an issue except the pending tournament. Not sure why the Golf Now App let me book but it did and we managed to get all 18 in. Lone suggestion porta pots along the course .

My first time here was when I started golfing just over 3 years ago. Since that time, the course conditions continue to improve. I have played MANY courses since, and yet this continues to be one of my favorites. There is something abut the layout I really enjoy, and it's always "peaceful" . Staff are some of the nicest around. A little more grass in the fairway, redone traps, and this would be a 5 star + course for me. If this course was on my side of the bridge, I'd be here every other week.

It was my fault for picking a busy weekend, but it was not worth 50$ a person

I have played and reviewed this course often. I have seen this course in 4.5 star condition and 1.5 star condition. I last played in October of ‘17 after a great time earlier that year. October ‘17 was a very bad experience that kept me away for over a year. I read some solid reviews so I found a deal and hoped for the best. .The layout is so good, I keep coming back. Unlike in 2017, I can see that they are trying to improve. But,in my opinion, it’s just not enough. Tee to green, and all the bunkers are in bad shape. They are cutting what grass that is out there, but this place is pretty far away from just average. Sorry to say, it will be another couple years before I return.

A good course for beginners and casual play. The course had issues some years ago and has not fully recovered. They sodded the greens November 2017 but the green condition is rough and running very slow.. The lay out is good with wooded edges that can cause trouble if you do not stay on the fairway. It has been dry finally here and the roll out was good but could lead to trouble. Rough was a bit longer than I am used to and balls that nestle down were difficult to find. The electric carts are a plus and quiet. It is obvious they are working to improve the conditions of the greens, tee boxes and fairways. It would be helpful if players would be courteous enough to repair ball marks and divots.

A nice course and good value for the dollar.

This was a very good course which has changed hands a couple of times and is just recently started to improve course conditions. The layout is very good and right now the price is right.

I really look forward to playing golf here. I spoke before about the layout which is my favorite in the area. The greens are getting really nice, they roll true, and for now, a little slow while they are letting them grow in which is smart. Th fairways are fine and I recommend it highly. Had another great meal and draft inside and everyone is friendly - its a great time whenever I visit. Try it out.

First time playing course this season and was quite pleased. Course condition has improved greatly from last year, especially the greens and tee boxes. Greens were nice and true, but a little slow for my liking. Traps all looked fine except for one on 18. If course conditions continue to improve, it will be a real gem. Management is attentive and seems committed to elevate the golfing experience at Patriots Glen.
