One of the Houston area's newest courses, Cypress Lakes Golf Club was designed by Jim Fazio, who carved the course out of the thick pine trees and used a significant number of lakes and bunkers to spice up this mounded track. Four sets of tees provide options ranging from 5,351 yards to 7,024 yards at the tips. In addition to the layout, the experience at Cypress Lakes is enhanced by the impressive driving range, which is complete with target greens guarded by bunkers -- an unusual look for a basic driving range.

Good course with affordable rate
Above average course conditions, bunkers were the only area needing work.
Cart
Cart 61 parking brake didn’t work, otherwise good course. Cart kid said it’s been inoperative for a while!
course is relatively cheap. has a good layout.
it is just too crowded and slow. our cart out of battery just showed lack attention to details. they might be short handed on staff or not well managed.
Great layout, fun holes
The place is always in good shape for the price, especially the greens, and the holes are some of my favorite.
Pace can be pretty slow sometimes.
Nice day-Nce golf
This is a very nice comfortable course. Good layout, good greens. It is getting very popular which is causing more players that are too slow to play there. I am 74 but I like a nice easy pace, but keep moving. That is the only complaint. Other than that I enjoy the course.
