One of the Houston area's newest courses, Cypress Lakes Golf Club was designed by Jim Fazio, who carved the course out of the thick pine trees and used a significant number of lakes and bunkers to spice up this mounded track. Four sets of tees provide options ranging from 5,351 yards to 7,024 yards at the tips. In addition to the layout, the experience at Cypress Lakes is enhanced by the impressive driving range, which is complete with target greens guarded by bunkers -- an unusual look for a basic driving range.

Nice course
CY Lakes was a nice course and good value if your flexible with your schedule. The course is not that difficult, wide open fairways, and greens were in pretty good shape.
Consistently good!
Great layout, few greens need work, tremendous value for your money, good pace of game.
Great track for your $$$
Green will get better since they got punched recently and it rained yesterday.. Great pace of play in spice of how busy it was.
Fun Course
Always a pleasure to play at Cypress Lakes. greens crews working hard to get course back to pre freeze conditions and doing a good job. Ready for that to be finished. Most greens are fine with the exception of two or three total greens being bad.
Bring a ball retriever
The water was still and clear. Kathy my partner of the day had her ball retriever and put it to good use. Greens are slowly coming back from the arctic blast in February. Fairways have been tyned. Play was wide open on a Monday, we finished in three hours.
Great place for the value
Course overall in good condition. Challenging as sand and water present on just about every hole. Greens need some work as most likely damaged from frost and receive a lot of play daily. Good course for the $$$
Save your money!
This course has fallen into the pits. The greens are all screwed up. Fairways are like concrete and dead spots everywhere. The design of the course is great. Some of the staff is just plan rude. Not worth the green fee rate!
Greens are bad
I don't know when it happened, but their greens are in bad shape. I can only assume it was the freeze, but if I'm going to pay that much to play, i expect better greens.
Great value
Easy going staff with a relaxed vibe. Pace of play was ideal for a group of 4 with no hold ups ahead or behind our group. Watch out for range balls on 9 and 10.
Cypress Lakes
The greens are nice but rest of the course needs water. Lots of hard pan lies.
Other than that a fun layout and great staff.
No masks required!! :)
