Slick greens and fairways are not too bad for winter play

This is a course one can count on to always provide a satisfying experience

The course is in good shape and the layout is open. The pace of play was slow and people were stacking up as many as 3 foursomes at a hole. If there was a marshal he was not helping speed up play. The do not sell liquor and do not have draft beer. The price of a round was twice what I usually pay but we wanted to try the course. For the price I expected better food and beverage choices and a nicer facility overall. The carts were good and they had a couple of port-a-toilets on the course. They could use a few more as they are a good distance from each other. It took 5 hrs 10 minutes to play 18 holes but it seemed a lot longer due to the waiting at the tee boxes.

I played the course several months ago and in the past. The pace of play was very slow which I had not encountered before. The course has a great layout but fairways have significantly worse condition. They are very thin and hard which made the course much is playable. Greens and traps were fine.. We will not play this course again until spring.

Golfers, need to adhere to the course rules regarding tee times, pace and the process of golfing holes , instead of jumping ahead of golfers and taking the next tee away from the golfer who is following course rules.

Great course has good greens and some challenging holes worth playing here on occasion

Beautiful Monday Afternoon round that was not crowded at all. Course was very good condition. The pro shop offered free range balls prior to the round. A big plus! The fairways were dry and fast but some fairways were a little thin.

The greens were in good shape along with the bunkers.

This course always seems windy though. Only complaint is watch out under the pine trees as there are a lot of exposed roots. All in all a very enjoyable day.

The course was in very good shape , greens are fast but consistent. Sand traps need some help but we can deal with that.

So alls good but heres the exception, its veterans day and the US and Texas flags were an embarrassment. Tattered and torn on veterans day! Cmon man, you can do better.

Dont mean to be a whiner but im disappointed in the lack of respect shown to veterans particularly on this day.

Got a good deal to play at noon. The course is good, but the pace is a bit slow for Monday afternoon. But I will definitely come back to play more. Staff is super friendly!

Golf course was good and what I remembered however the cart cooler setup was not good. Could not hold cooler on cart even though had place for it. Little irritating. Some of the other amenities showed some serious signs of age and bathrooms were messy.

Had to use up a coupon code from golfnow since they don't refund hot deals even though the fault and error was on them, I had a 1pm tee time. Caught behind seniors skins game in which the groups were 5somes. Group in front of us two holes behind. On #11 I called the proshop. He said IF he finds someone he would send somebody out. He had no intention of FINDING someone. No one came. Fairways are getting almost as bad as Houston national lots of places where there's a lot of sand and dirt under a blade of grass. Complete disaster if a day and round.

When I booked on Golfnow it said I would be charged $59 at the course for the round. Got there and they ended up charging my $79 in the clubhouse. Make sure you are paying the correct rate from GolfNow when you play here.

Always had nice time here. Staff was nice, even let me tee off early because I was there early. Greens are still fast and good for this hot weather. Well kept fairways and practice area.
