Cypress Lakes Golf Club

Playing on a Wednesday at 12:45, you would expect to have a decently paced round especially when you are playing alone. However, immediately on hole 2, I encountered another single that was slowed down by a 5-some in front of him, and another in front of them. After being behind for 3 holes and them taking 20+ mins on a par 3 and them not letting us pass even though the 5- some in front of them were a full hole ahead, we ended up joining with another single. By the end of the front 9, I went from a single to a 5-some because they wouldn’t let us pass. Then when we called the club house they said they’d send someone out and never did. Even after becoming a 5-some we were still pushing on them. It’s ridiculous that the club house would do nothing and allow a slow 5-some to play without allowing others to pass. I will not be going back to this course regardless of the price or hot deals.

Just a good course for everyone. Nice layout and greens are fast but true. No complaints except for my striking. Not courses fault. You an enjoy a day out here.

Fairways were superb but greens needed to be rolled

The turf of the course was superb and not dried out. The greens looked like the had been punched a month ago but had not been rolled and were bumpy.

Greens and fairways were in very good shape. Mini drought ha ms everything looking brown that doesn’t have irrigation.

All fairways and greens have been well watered. Sand traps were inconsistent and need some work.

I would recommend this course to any standard of player! Great condition and very good first experience playing this course!

While the course was in excellent conditions, the pace was some what slow due to a tournament in front of us, but that does not take away from the course being in great shape.The greens which are usually some of the best in Houston (public courses) were rolling very smoothly but were pretty grainy Maybe time for aeriation? All in all with a hot deal from Golf now this was an excellent value for the money . You should go check it out

Only if allow single player to play again like in the past. I see a group of five going to play and then asking to myself why not single? What is the best time to walk instead of riding a golf car?

This is a nice golf course in the Houston area. Great practice facilities, nice layout, well kept and finally good value.

Never disappoint.

Great little gem just 30 minutes from the galleria. Lots of water but never in play unless you spray your balls right or left. Greens in great shape as was the rest of the course. Danny one of the members joined up with us and he was really nice. Marshall asked a slower foursome to let us play through at the turn which helped speed of play. Will definitely return again.

I'm all for regular groups, but not of players. It's just unfair to others who pay the same amount. Luckily some storms blew through and scared them away. My round was salvaged.

Fairly good course. Heavy rains today affected greens and fair way. .
