Cypress Lakes Golf Club

Staff in shop were very friendly. The front nine was very slow due to a group ahead of us. Overall the experience was very good and will play here again.

I have been golfing at Cypress Lakes Golf for over 10 years now. The staff are always friendly and somehow they manage to keep the course in amazing condition year round.

I played after many days of heavy rain and the fairways were superb and the greens LIGHTENING FAST.

I recently moved out of the state and have been playing courses in the Pacific Northwest. There are some gems but Houstonians, y’all have it sooo nice down here.

I come back all the time for family, golf, food, golf and of course golf.

Cypress Lakes is always on the top 3 I HAVE to play every single time I come home.

Weather and course conditions led to a wonderful round. Greens were fast and true. Only troublesome quirk is the short #17 into the wind. Club selection into the sloping green is a big challenge as is putting on this green. Seems such an easy par 3...looks are deceiving.

Was allowed to tee off 30 minutes early as the course was pretty open. Caught a 4 some on 5 and ending up pairing up with single while we waited and waited on the group in front. Brought it to the attention of the Marshall who was actually on the course performing his duties. He spoke to the group and had us tee off with them on the next box and then continue our round unimpeded. Great job Marshall!!! Great course, greens were wicked quick. Bunkers were flawless and fairways had roll for days. Great round, great staff, excellent experience.

I love the layout of this course. you are rewarded for your good shots and if you stay out of the lakes you most times have some kind of a shot to put into play.Challenging but very playable venue

Course was in good shape. Greens were fast but fair. Lakes don't come into play that often. Played with a group of golfers with handicaps ranging from 22 to 6 ... everyone thought course was in great shape and was very playable. Will play here again.

I play here often and the Course is always in good shape except for when they are tending to green maintenance. The only thing that disappoints if you play over the weekend (Fri-Sun) is the pace of play...it usually runs 45min-1hr over standard 18 round timing. Its also likely due to it being an 18 hole course in high demand. Other courses near it are 27+ holes - and pace is always much better, but they are pricier as well. With that said, its still a wonderful course and I would recommend it to other golfers.

Played early Saturday am. Fees a little steep but the course didn't disappoint. Perfect greens and fairways! Challenging undulations and pin placements. Ball rolled true but slow due to the dew. Once dry, the ball should roll out more on drives and putts could be be slippery fast. Alot of water but not really in play unless you hit a wayward drive. Very generous landing areas and some beautiful looking holes. Will play many more times to come.

I shot a personal best 82 from the forward tees on a Friday. Just finished in time before the sun went down. Hadn't played in a while after Hurricane Harvey flooded the area and this was one of the first courses to reopen. Greens were in fantastic shape, helped me sink a couple of birdie putts. The guy working the pro shop is always helpful and friendly. I've had several clubs regripped by David Weikman of Advantage Fore Golf and he does a great job, can do a club while you wait.

Excellent condition even a few days after the flooding. Was not affected. Not even 90 degrees. Perfect fairways. Best around The area!
