Cypress Lakes Golf Club

We had a 11:15am tee time. We were standing at the counter at 11:05. They said they had us down for 11:06am. I showed them the email confirmation of 11:15 they told us sorry we will have to wait for a opening if possible stating we were late... we were not late we were on-time but they made no effort in getting us on even though it was their system that had the issue. As there was no guarantee of playing we left. Wasted day!

Greens were fast and slick. Really makes you concentrate on your putting. Sand traps were some of the best around with good sand quality.

The course was in great shape despite all of the rain and cold weather conditions. Since the course was cart-path only my group decided we would walk. 45º degree temperatures with 15 mph winds made for some rather difficult conditions. Regardless, this is a great course for the money and well maintained.

I quit on hole 12 as I could not take the 10-15 minute wait in each hole. I am a 7 handicap and play quite a bit of golf all over but they let teams of 5 players out on the course followed by teams of 3. I never heard of teams of 5 being allowed ont eh weekends

Challenging set up, yet fair for all. Staff prompt and helpful. Support staff is excellent as well.

This is a pretty good track. The greens are slick! Definitely lives up to its boasting about good greens. The rest of the course is ok. The pace of play was ridiculously slow. Be prepared to wait on every shot. If you can find a good deal on here I'd definitely recommend it, but I'd never pay the full $60 to play here.

The course was in great condition consdering the amount of rain that fell during the morning. There was still water in several bunkers, water in spots on the fairways. Neither condition detracted from the great time I had. The starter, Pat, even got us out earlier which helped us get all 18 in. Great job Pat!

Definitely go, it's a great course for a double digit handicapper.

We play these golf couser after a very hard rain. The couser drains very well and the greens are still very fast.

Great place to play. good value if you can get discounted rates. I think their posted rates are on the high side.

Lot of variety as far as water and trees to shape shots. course was wet from recent rain so bunkers were very hard pan still. greens were nice and groomed. Will play there again.

I wish there was a starter or a marshall or both. Being that it was a monday i was informed that their were neither and the first tee was a bit disorganized with no one really saying when you were up or if you were paired with anyone. On the back 9 the groups ahead slowed terribly and caused back ups so if there was a marshall this may have been avoided. Hard to say. Overall, fast greens and played pretty true.

Great course, friendly staff. Tournament was right before us so we were held up a bit but had a great time. Very nice and manicured?

Course was in good condition, greens rolled true and with good speed. Play was a little slow on the front, but not bad - but for some reason, there were 5 people on the tee box at #10 waiting for a long time to tee off. I wanted to play the back, but, instead of making it a 5 hour round, decided to go back and play the front nine again.

PLAYED 18 AND FOUND OUR PAIR JOINED WITTH A GREAT OTHER PAIR. COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE EXCEPT FOR A FEW HOLES WHICH NEAR THE GREEN HAD WAY TO MUCH WATER WHICH CREATED A VERY SLUGGISH AREA. MARSHAL WAS NEAR ENOUGH BUT REALLY NICE AND FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. STAFF AS ALWAYS WHEN I'VE BEEN THERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. LOVE TO PLAY THIS CHALL ENGING COURSE. ALWAYS RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS.

Enjoyed the course some nice water challenges, friendly pair up with some members . It looks like the greens have been overworked and are usually better. Overall an enjoyable round and friendly staff.

Despite the lack of rain in the area for the month or so in Houston, the fairways were in excellent condition unlike other courses in the neighborhood. The greens were in great shape too. I really like the pace of play on this course, took less than 4 hours without marshals expediting players. Overall very satisfied with the value offers by the course and golfnow. Will play again.

It's a good course, especially for the twilight fees. The greens are very firm and play extremely fast however
