Shingle Creek Golf Club

I got the opportunity to play at Shingle Creek today because of a Hot Deal on Golf Now. The greens were airated amd very bumpy but the course was beautiful and staff was top notch!

Greens were being aerated but that was posted everywhere. Amenities, course, staff all were great.

Tip: Towel on the leather cart seats so you don’t burn.

Great course and excellent value (for FL residents). Range was included and the practice areas are great. Greens and fairways were punched, but there was mention of it at check-in and a notification on golf now—not sure how so many folks miss that. Definitely one of my favorites in the Orlando area and will return.

Course was cart path and it was not properly announced when I paid for the tee time. Greens were in poor condition.

The fairways and greens are punched and the greens are sanded. Just assume a two put on every green and move on because it is like putting on a sidewalk. Cart path only made for a very slow round. Otherwise a nice course.

I played on a Deal Time and it was a great value. The course played hard, tight and fast. You could tell they're getting ready to plug the greens because they were perfect. The bunkers were edged and raked.

The only downside was $8 plus tip for a 14 oz. Yuengling. Ouchy.

Played Shingle Creek for the first time last week, I found that the fairways were pretty wide. The greens have bunkers surrounding them so it helps to miss them. The sand was very soft and easy to get out of if you happened to find it. Pace of Play wasn't an issue either. I teed off around 2:40 pm and was done around 6:30 pm. Try to keep your ball in front of the green and try not to go over. The course overall wasn't too difficult. The greens had lots of undulation to them and different levels. So being short or on the correct level helps. Take the extra time on the practice green since it pretty much replicates the course. Greens were fast but not on a country club speed level. Very good course for the money especially if you get a hot deal.

Very well maintained. Firm fast fairways and greens. Well groomed rough and bunkers. Very friendly staff at bag drop. My only complaint was lack of food options at the snack shack. Apparently there was a big tournament that wiped them out so I understand it

Played with my wife. Just us. Behind a foursome but it was a 4 he. round. Greens and fairways in beautiful shape. As always greens are true but difficult cult to read. Tee boxes show a lot of play. Sand had been raked everywhere that morning. Always a treat to play
