Shingle Creek Golf Club

I liked the course. The layout was nice. Greens were aerated a few weeks back and I expected them to be healed with all the rain we’ve had. Not the case, still pretty punched and rutted. Got behind a very slow foursome and skipped two holes rather than wait for two groups waiting on the tee. Went back and played them later and still beat the slow foursome three groups ahead of us. Otherwise a very nice course with a friendly staff.

The course was in great shape. Grains were rolling great. Only slight downside was it was cartpath only on the back which did slow it up a bit, but that is to be expected at a resort course.

My wife (WHS 20.5) and I (WHS 19.5) played Shingle Creek for the first time today. Reviews I had found online were somewhat mixed. I am so glad I didn’t not listen to the negative comments. We thoroughly enjoyed our round despite me putting four balls in the water. Has medium handicappers the wet conditions (cart path only) meant we didn’t get any roll which made the course a little longer for us. The greens were challenging with slope,and borrows. Having said that the greens were firm and true. Pace of the greens were slightly faster than our home course in the UK. Would we play the course again - without a shadow of a doubt, yes we would. All the staff were friendly and the drinks cart was seen on multiple occasions which was most welcome on a hot day.

Excellent course to play. Will play there one a month, from now on. It’s 100% worth it.

I had heard about Shingle Creek and wanted to pay there for quite a while. So a friend of mine got me and my girlfriend to come out and play there and all I can say is oh but yeah.!

From the moment I walked in the door to the moment we left I had a most amazing time! We’re greeted by the staff. They were extremely friendly and informative. Everybody in the pro shop were very adept at their jobs. The starter was entertaining, inform us about the course so it helped me when I played my round of golf!!

Girl was amazing. And at the end of the day when we pulled up the 18th hole, the staff clean my clubs and carry up to the car and it was a beautiful experience from start to finish.!

I used to work at Kapalua and I think the service was better here than that we gave in Hawaii!!

Plus, it’s an Arnold Palmer golf course and you can’t go wrong there!!

Great round as I am beginner and was challenged lots and really good friendly staff.

Nice amenities, great staff, course was in very nice condition, even though the greens were punched a few weeks ago they are the fastest and truist greens I have played in Orlando, pin placement was very challenging on the greens, almost like they were messing with your putting game, but still awesome.

Course in good condition generally , a couple of areas had newly laid grass areas which were GUR so all good and we were informed before going out. Greens were fine and ran well and layout excellent. Overall a fine golfing experience.
