Myerlee Country Club
About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

I’ve played here fairly often and have never experienced the pace of play as bad as it was today.
Absolute gridlock from the eighth hole on. Didn’t even bother playing the back nine. No ranger. Would’ve been 5-6 hour round. I’ve played “in season” plenty of times and I get it. But this was beyond ridiculous. On the up side, the course was in nice shape
Tight fun
The course is in fair shape though the greens where in great condition. The facility could use a warm up area as all it has is a putting green NO CHIPPING! So the first couple of holes are a bit of a struggle. All together a tight but fun short course. 😉
Ft Myers Beach
Course was in good shape, friendly staff nice golf carts.
Overall impressions
Understandably this course can charge almost any price because every course in the area are always fully booked, but please be aware of what you’re over paying for.
This is an executive course, par 58. The starter was rude and completely lost. He had no idea what tee time was up next and when asked if things were on time we were obnoxiously told that he didn’t know and didn’t care.
Once out on the course we quickly realized that the greens were long and the pin placements were often in slopes.
Bottom line is that this course is way overpriced for what you get.
Myerlee golf course
A fine course to play in about 3 hours. After playing you can get a drink at the outside bar. The only problem at this course is sometimes they have you start on hole 10 instead of 1. They think this helps move things along, but
our 4som doesn't agree with that. Oh well.
Nice executive coarse
First time playing the coarse. Nice executive coarse in great shape. Reasonable rates for Florida this time of year. I would recommend this coarse👍
Group of 6 playing ahead of us!
No ranger. 6 people playing together ahead of us! Super slow. How does this happen??
Nice Exec Course
I like Myerlee. Starter was great, got us out early. Pace of play was very good. Course in very good shape, just wish there was a bit more grass in some areas, but generally good. Will play again.
Good For Executive.
Good mix of shorter holes, and nice greens/complexes.
Unsatisfied
Course was in poor condition with very little grass in most places. Pace of play was terrible with NO ranger out there keeping the group ahead on pace - there were two full holes open in front of them and the foursome was playing two balls each. Unacceptable!!!
