About
Myerlee Golf & Country Club began as the dream of a retired New York police officer who moved to Florida in the 1960s just so he could play more golf. His dream eventually became a peaceful retirement community with a beautiful 18-hole course as its centerpiece. The Arthur Hills-designed layout is one of the toughest par-60 golf courses in southwest Florida. There are two streams that cut across the course and intersect on the front nine. They snake along every hole, making water the predominant hazard but there are also several strategically placed bunkers to watch out for. The golf course is mostly open with a few cypress trees dotted along the fairways and greens. Myerlee Golf & C.C. is a course that will test your skills but it isn't overly punishing, which gives it appeal for beginners as well.

Millions of dollars in renovations, 15 still a swamp! Someone deserves a refund for bad planning.

Course is nice.
Very wet from rain previous week.
Will play again in dry season.
Nice course flooded
Front 9 was nice but flooded.
Back 9 was closed due to water.
I will definitely try this course again in the dry season.

Challenging and Fun
The folks who work at Myerlee are so friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home right from the start. The course was in great shape considering all the storms and bad weather we've had lately. The layout was challenging and fun. You will definitely use your irons throughout the game. The greens are fast and well designed to test your skills. Lots of wildlife and scenery along the way. They are making huge improvements since hurricane Ian. The clubhouse was just fixed up and opened. I had a blast and can't wait to play again.
Fun course.
Course gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Greens were in very good shape. Has enough obstacles to keep it interesting.

Pro shop staff and rangers are outstanding. Greens and fairways are well manicured. 19th hole staff are friendly.
