Bear Creek Golf Club - East Course
About
Bear Creek Golf Club's East Course is considered a tad more difficult than the West, with tighter fairways and smaller greens. Fourteen of 18 holes dogleg, so its label as a target course is accurate. Elevation changes make club selection a challenge, and the par 5s are tough to reach in two. No. 5 stands out on the front: a 385-yarder that doglegs left and involves an approach over water. No. 8 is longer (418 yards) and features water in the fairway landing area and along the right side. On the back, no. 15 is the signature, playing 432 yards and tricky because of the blind approach shot.

Great golf course,
Golf course in great shape
Hosten 1112 and 13 I was swarmed by Biting flies
Needs better management
No range balls available at 7:30am on a Sunday. Brutally slow foursome in front of us let out at 7:45am. Early rounds like this should never be allowed to plug up the entire course.
Tee boxes were in rough shape. Greens were in excellent shape as were traps. Potential to be so much better with proper management.
BECAREFUL OFF THE TEE BOX
really liked the course for the most part. was in great condition and greens were fast. there are several blind shots off the tee box and if you choose the wrong club it will cost you a ball in the water or in the woods....so beware.
Great Course!!!
Bear Creek is in FANTASTIC shape. The greens are rolling smooth and true. The staff is very friendly and the other golfers are very friendly. Will be back for sure!
Most Overcrowded Course I've Ever Seen in Four Decades of Playing
Booked a 10:08 tee time for the West course. Heard rumors of a tournament on the course that had shotgun started a few hours earlier. Yet they were still slipping groups like mine into the flow. When we teed off there were three groups waiting behind us.
We waited on average 10-15 minutes at each subsequent tee box. It took right at TWO HOURS to complete the first four holes. It was such a beating, we left at that point, walking away from a $50 green fee.
It was wildly irresponsible, and greedy, to jam that many groups onto an 18-hole track. I emailed the course afterward, but haven't gotten a response yet.
Have played there maybe 40 times in the past, but this was my last if I don't hear from them.
Good shape a must play
Overall always like playing this course. Only negative was the bunkers were not in good shape. Many bunkers were hard pan and hard to get out. Rough in many areas needed to be cut.
Still a must play
East Bear Creek Course
It was very hot and the pace was very slow. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Had to quit after nine holes due to the heat and the pace of play. Very expensive 9 holes of golf.
Best Greens
The greens were the best I have been on this year. I normally play Cowboys and your greens are faster and smoother.
Overall good
Both east and west are in pretty good condition. Very busy on weekends.
