Bear Creek Golf Club's East Course is considered a tad more difficult than the West, with tighter fairways and smaller greens. Fourteen of 18 holes dogleg, so its label as a target course is accurate. Elevation changes make club selection a challenge, and the par 5s are tough to reach in two. No. 5 stands out on the front: a 385-yarder that doglegs left and involves an approach over water. No. 8 is longer (418 yards) and features water in the fairway landing area and along the right side. On the back, no. 15 is the signature, playing 432 yards and tricky because of the blind approach shot.

Good challenge
Greens were quick and smooth for a Friday pace of play was good
Stay away
lots of knuckleheads playing on this course. Group behind us hit our cart number 18. Another group behind us Had no idea how to play golf Iand was literally running through the golf course And putting pressure on our pay supply. Sand traps were terrible, I hit the liner on several of them and skulled shots. Fairways were cut to tight Leading to many brown spots. Greens were rolled, fast and all cups were cut on edges making it difficult to make putts.

Needs better management
No range balls available at 7:30am on a Sunday. Brutally slow foursome in front of us let out at 7:45am. Early rounds like this should never be allowed to plug up the entire course.
Tee boxes were in rough shape. Greens were in excellent shape as were traps. Potential to be so much better with proper management.
BECAREFUL OFF THE TEE BOX
really liked the course for the most part. was in great condition and greens were fast. there are several blind shots off the tee box and if you choose the wrong club it will cost you a ball in the water or in the woods....so beware.
Great Course!!!
Bear Creek is in FANTASTIC shape. The greens are rolling smooth and true. The staff is very friendly and the other golfers are very friendly. Will be back for sure!
