Bear Creek Golf Club - East Course

About
Bear Creek Golf Club's East Course is considered a tad more difficult than the West, with tighter fairways and smaller greens. Fourteen of 18 holes dogleg, so its label as a target course is accurate. Elevation changes make club selection a challenge, and the par 5s are tough to reach in two. No. 5 stands out on the front: a 385-yarder that doglegs left and involves an approach over water. No. 8 is longer (418 yards) and features water in the fairway landing area and along the right side. On the back, no. 15 is the signature, playing 432 yards and tricky because of the blind approach shot.

Nice course but slow slow play
I really enjoyed the layout, the condition of the course, although the greens need some TLC they were playable. Bunkers were mostly in good shape. Cart GPS while lacking in flashy UI, it was accurate most of the time.
Good Experience but tight
Overall enjoyed the round. But the 1st 6-7 holes are really tight where hitting a decent shot gets you into trouble. Greens were crazy fast and hole placements on some were "cruel" (term heard a bunch in our 4some).
Clubhouse and amenities are top notch. Carts however were a bit of a disappointment. Distance to green was displayed crudely on steuring column, but no monitor showing hole happing.
Fantastic Customer Service
1st timer! The Manager taking care of the pro shop made me feel right at home ❤️🔥🫡🏆
Excellent day chasing a little sphere.
This east course in my opinion has great layout and vistas of the holes that leaving you want to play over and over. Tip of my cap to the grounds crew for having tee to green on point. Greens were true and speed set to respect but not frustrate. Will be playing again before winter is in full swing
Great experience!
Enjoyed an afternoon twilight round. Shoutout to Drew in the pro shop for being extra accommodating and courteous. A few areas around the green were a bit overwatered and muddy, otherwise great course conditions. Will be back!
Fun times
I always have a good time at Bear Creek playing either course. Beautiful scenery and great conditions. Only downside was dirt on the greens from ants I guess. Greens were in good condition and fast but whatever caused the little clumps of dirt challenged true putting. Other than that it was a good day.
Great course
Played the East course, which was in great shape. Greens were quick and true. Clubhouse staff wasn't the friendliest, but the starter was. As this was my first time here, he explained the layout and all the quirks. Pace was great. Finished right around 4 hours. Can't wait to come back to play the West course.
Great Day

Friendly staff
Will be back in future
