Some greens were being reworked when I played ... Otherwise it was great ... I look forward to going back

Had a few temp greens, but still was very playable. It was a very nice course overall. Beautiful views and very friendly staff!

Great piece of property - a lot of poor conditions

It's not a bad course but the renovations are more of an obstacle than anything and all the greens are at best fair to awful. The pro felt it necessary to give us a lecture on khakis bc we were in blue jeans. This course was open to the public. If you could survive on memberships alone then you wouldn't have to open it to the public. Probably won't be back anytime soon.

Enjoyed the day course is scenic and lots of nature to see, but living on its memory of days long ago as they have basically lost the greens. 3 are temporary plots of sandy over seeded fairway and the remainder have limited full coverage with lots of marks and spots.

I hope they can recover them as I always enjoy a back to nature day at Limestone.. The rest of the course is in good condition.

Course layout is great but I would say 10/18 of the green are in terrible conditions. Not worth the weekend rate for sure.

This would have been an exceptional experience if the course had any greens. The greens were the worst I had ever tried to play.

This course has a great layout, but the greens were in very rough shape. Looks like they had a disease or something. Rest of course is nice. I won't be back till they get the greens back

The greens could definitely use some work but we love the way the layout of the course is. They can also use some work in the fairways but this is a really nice course.

The greens are ruff right now but you can't beat the price.

Greens were aerated. Fungus all over. Most were white.

Tee boxes were just as horrible. Worse round ever. Looks as If it not being maintained.

Greens had been airated but that's just part of golf. I love this course!

The course obviously is not at the condition that it has been in the past but I’m believing the new ownership and staff will get it back and better. For the price you can’t beat what it think is one of the best layouts for a course. Rooting for this to return to glory!

They have new owners and they are working to make it the pristeen course it used to be

I have played this course dozens of times and it is one of my absolute favorites in the greater Birmingham area. Unfortunately, it’s gone really down hill since the last time I played here in June. The greens looked like scorched earth. There were literally patches of green that had dried, cracked dirt. The front nine greens were abysmal. The back was better, but still not good. I really hope they return to their standards from days past.

Most of the greens are in bad shape. You can tell they are trying to keep them going, but it was bad today. I actually quit putting on several of them. Dead areas, not spots--areas. In the past, this course was close to RTJ, not anymore. I will, however,, play it again in the fall. The hot weather makes it hard for their greens.
