Soboba Springs Golf Course was founded in 2004 when the Luiseno Indians purchased the property. It had long been a dream of the tribal leaders to own this golf course, which borders their reservation. The tribe's leaders hired Cary Bickler, a disciple of the course's original designer, Desmond Muirhead, to update the layout and pave the way for it to once again be one of southern California's premier golfing destinations. The renovation included the addition of 25 new bunkers, a lengthening of the back tees and shortening of the forward tees by almost 1,000 yards to make it more approachable for the less experienced player. The Augusta-white sand that fills Soboba Springs' bunkers provides a stunning contrast to the lush greens. Water also comes into play throughout the golf course in the form of meandering streams and cascading waterfalls.

A little pricey for the course conditions

A good amount of dry and bare spot in the fairway.

We were probably the 3rd group out and it seem like the bunkers had not been raked.

Favorite track gone down hill

Been playing at Soboba for 20 years but haven’t played there since COVID until today. Green fees have skyrocketed since the new casino opened but the course has always been pristine. It’s always been my favorite track. I was shocked today as all the fairway bunkers were full of chickweeds. Unbelievable but true. The fairways were in only fair condition as were the tee boxes. Greens and green side bunkers were in good condition. It’s definitely a farce at $75 per round. Won’t go back until there is lots of improvement.

Hidden gem, a nice drive from OC!

Nice challenging course in very good condition. We played 11:20 tee time, and thought it would be a little toasty. But the nice breeze and ample shades made it quite enjoyable.

Def a gem

This course is a hidden gem its fairways are lush and green which I love the greens are beautiful but this last time.were a bit.slower than previous times

Let's speed up those green

The staff is amazing and lois who works in the pro shop is one of the friendliest and.accomading starters in my 35 yrs of golf...she retired from.special ed teaching..kiddos to her for allowing.me to bring my 25.yr old Autistic son out.

3:30 pace of play. Greens and fairways are all excellent. If you're OK with 95+ degree weather, do it. Got in on a hot deal.

What a golf course should look like

The greens on this course are very beautiful. This is a PGA course and is used to play on the PGA tour and to qualify for the PGA tour also in different leagues. The course is challenging in that the holes are long. Truly a great experience.

Five Is Too Many!

Either this course has no limit on the number of players allowed in a group or people are grouping together after the first hole, but I was caught behind a fivesome on the second hole. Fortunately, they did let me (a single) play thru. I then was confronted with some seriously slow three and foursomes who didn't understand golf etiquette (it is almost a thing of the past). Then when I finsihed the last hole, I saw probably 12-15 high school aged kids on the first tee. I have no idea what they were all doing together, but I'm glad I didn't get stuck behind them! Slow play is the bane of all golf courses, and without a marshall to speed up some of these woefully slow groups, it kills the flow for other players.
