A great layout
The corse has possibly the 3 hardest starting holes you might find anywhere in Florida. The greens need attention, some bare areas. The reception staff are first class, AJ and Chris.
The setting is picturesque and it is not flat
The rough is a killer. All but two of the greens are in great shape. The fairways are not straight with water and a few deep bunkers and several regular traps. It is interesting and challanging.

Great value. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. A true Florida style golf course with lots of foliage and some nice elevation changes. The greens putted well although the grass seemed a little sparse in some areas. That may have been the result of the over abundance of rain that they experienced the month prior to our playing there. Play the correct set of tees for your handicap and you'll have a fun day with lots of challenge.
Unique Florida Layout
A challenging course lined with trees and some elevation changes. The course has no forced carries over water, however there are some lateral water hazards. The 16th hole is a wonderful par 5 around a waterfall also has nice elevation changes. The staff is simply wonderfull.
Best value in central Florida
Diamondback is the most challenging course in central Florida if you are struggling off the tee take plenty balls you will need them.Probably the best value course in central florida
some holes were very challening
since i am not a long ball hitter i found some holes very bothersome. however i will play again just so i can convience myself that i am not really that bad...
This course is challenging for average golfers.
If you plan to play Diamondback, and I recommend that you do, just remember to take a few extra golf balls with you. Some of the fairways are narrow and lined on each side by thick wooded and overgrown areas which like to eat golf balls. I'll bet that even the pros would lose a couple ball on this course. It's fun to play, well maintained and beautiful. My scores here don't do much for my ego but I love to play the course.
Its tight, bring a few extra balls, you will need them !
Diamond Back is more of a Chess board than a Grip it and Rip it course. It demands concentration, planning and flexibility to score well.
The course had some condition issues over the summer but is coming back nicely.

The Scenery is breathtaking....
The most exciting 18 holes I have ever played. The course is challenging to play with the hills and lay out of the course....kept us thinking what next....We enjoyed playing this course because the condition was excellent considering it was under renovation in a few areas....I cannot wait to play on the course when the renovations are complete.
