The Club at River Wilderness

Booked a Hot Deal so received a decent discount. Paired up w/a couple from Ohio & a single also from Ohio. Pace was brutally slow, 2.5 hr front 9 and same for the back. No on course marshals to monitor play. 1 set of washrooms out if order & hot as blazes. Staff were all quite courteous.

Got to this course to find out the tee times through golf now are $15 more per person than booking through their sute

The management team needs to do a better job managing the fairways lanscapping, grow more grass and less weeds. Fun course and I enjoyed my round

The only disappointment was the 90 degree rule in effect. The course was dry like every other course in the area and this was a pain.

Hard pan through out , a few muddy spots , inconsistent greens ,sandy tee boxes , lots and lots of weeds very disappointing. Front nine greens are drastically different than the back nine . I feel bad for the people who work there, they were all very nice .

I treated co worker to a round of golf. He is getting married next week. Had a blast. No waiting. Great pace of play.

Fairway condictions very rough, otherwise very nice course very friendly staff.

the fairways are much too thin. Not enough grass. Some tee boxes looked really poor to say the least. The bar was closed because of water problems which were identified 6 hours earlier.

To start off they have two entrances to the neighborhood. The one that’s right next to the course is off limits, so you have to drive around the neighborhood to get to the course, adding another 10 minutes.

The staff was very friendly and told us what to look out for.

Course is in poor condition, fairways, teeboxes.

The greens are actually great but they are inconsistent.

Wasn’t worth the $80. There are other courses around the area that are nicer and cheaper.

The course was conveniently located and the price was reasonable, but the course was in poor condition. Greens were bad but they are being worked on a bit. The tees and fairways were in need of serious work. I would not go back nor recommend this course to anyone.

Terrible fairways and greens. Outside stafff non existent.

The course had a nice layout but the course was in really bad shape. Some of the fairways and tee boxes didn’t even have any grass on them. This course needs a lot of work. The greens were barely playable. I don’t know how the members here tolerate these course conditions. Probably the worst course I’ve played in years. This course should be closed and redone before anyone plays it again. I won’t play here again until something gets done. The money they charge to play here ,this course should be in great shape. Shameful!!!

We teed off at 1:15 pm and finished the round at 4:55pm. By the time we washed our hands and showed up at the bar, it was 5:10 pm and we were told that the bar was closed...

What is the point of closing it so early as daylight keeps on going up and there are lots of players who choose pm golfing. Please keep it open until 6 pm ... this is essential in the rating of the overall experience.

There were way too many shots hit from the fairway where grass was extremely spare. Hitting mostly off sand and dirt. Course needs an influx of TLC.
