Excellent Course for value
This course was in excellent condition. Greens and fairways were very well maintained. No waiting or hold ups at all. Staff were super friendly. One of the best public courses in the area. Will definitely be back.
Good and bad
First time playing this course. The start time was 15-20 late leading us to have to skip the final hole die to darkness. The pace of play was slow to good at
times and somewhat typical of less expensive public courses. On the plus side, the course was in pretty good condition and the layout, for shorter course, was challenging-and interesting. Hate any course that closes the bar early and no bathroom is open or place to get a beer! The biggest is the location of the course. There is a landfill garbage dump nearby and the wind that day blew the stink directly down the first few holes and part of the back nine. It was nauseating ! Not certain how often that happens but would not golf there again of itnis common.
jammed up tee times
I have been playing here consistently for 2 years lately they are allowing way to many tee times in the 2 and 3 o'clock hour, they have so many 4somes on the coarse that the pace of play is horrible and allot of the time you can not finish your round by twilight. when you ask they just shrug it off. This is good coarse but this is something that very much needs to be improved. as player i can assure you others are saying the same thing.
It is high season, and the course is sold out daily. As is hte case with most courses, handicaps go up as you golf later in the day. We have 8 minute tee times, and run 4 hour and 20 minute rounds. We monitor play electronically and we have on course rangers pushing platers along the best we can. I get as many complaints about rangers pushing players as I do for slow play. If you are teeing off after 3pm, and want to play 18, I suggest playing the front 9 twice. Last tee times are 4pm this time of year, so things will be wide open on the turn. We could go to 10 minute tee times, but the prices would be affected. Our customers LOVE our reasonable prices so I hate to increase them, Tony

Listen stop complaining people. They have done a fantastic job with this course. Talk about value. Played here in Jan. and Feb. Be back in April. All I can say is thank you.
Thanks so much for this review. It means so much to me and our hard working employees.
Tony
Last 2 times we played 30 to 40 minutes wait before your tee time. 5 hr. Round.
Slow slow slow
Tee time 0732, didn’t tee off til 0815. Course is loaded up with “members” that play in front of scheduled tee times. Waited on every hole to hit shots.
Nothing but respect for your review, but The Links At Greenfield Plantation is on sr 64 and not near a dump. OI’ve never heard anyone say this before in 14 years since I’ve bought the course. Our last tee times are at 4pm and our bar and bathrooms are open to 6PM daily. We offer coolers pre round at the bar, have on course bev cart service and a halfway house with awesome food beer and other cold drinks. All at very reasonable prices. We also have several on course bathrooms. And it is a full length golf course. Nothing short about it.
