Heritage Harbour Golf Club

I always play HH when I visit the area. You can always count on very good but not great conditions. Tee boxes are ok, fairways are nice and full, few if any bare spots with a good rollout. Greens were great, well taken care of, holding nicely, speed got faster as they dried out. Easy to adjust. Practice areas were sufficient, above average. Carts have GPS. Snack and drink cart came by often. 19th hole/ bar was enjoyable, good food. Every round includes a free beverage of your choice after round.HH is definitely in my rotation.

We loved the course and the friendly staff when we showed up for our tee time today. One of the best layouts in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Check-in was seamless - the starter was friendly and kept us informed of when we could tee off. The course was packed and the round took us close to 5 hours. Our only complaint was that our garmin watches didn’t work so, on the cart path only holes, it made it difficult because we had to guess at those distances to the pin. Overall - we had a great day enjoying the course and we plan to return. Thanks, Dave Concino

This course could be great- but it’s just not.

Pace of play is slow, carts are SLOW, and overall course is not in the best condition. Greens roll true- but for the price it’s not bad for southwest florida.

Staff was nice, carts paths/ shell paths need some love.

Of course too- when we went- the back was closed and we had to play the front x2- but there was no starter at the tee to manager tee times+ groups making the “turn” back to one.

this was a last minute decision on my part, I checked the clubs site to see how busy they were....looked at Golf now and saw they had a single HOT DEAL available, later than preferred....drove to the course only to be told that holes 12 thru 18 were closed ( basically under water due to previous days rain)

WHY was this not noted when booking booking through GolfNow or even on their own site. Seeing as I driven all the way there and was playing the following day, I was going to just play the the 11, then they tell me , well there is a substantial delay since we were back up this morning !!!

his suggestion call GolfNow and they'll credit you.

well thats not going well yet either as they couldn't reach the course to "confirm" things. So a pretty lost day and disappointed in both parties for failure to communicate the situation instead of business as usual bookings. Still have to what for GolfNow as to confirm my credit...that too seems to be a slowish process

Beautiful and challenging course. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Staff is always pleasant and fun to deal with, only downsides to the day was pace of play being SSSSLLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW. We teed off at 9:08 and it took over about 5 hours for the round. Saw the ranger once but it didn't help speed up the round. Course was in great shape but when I go back to play I will be sure to get a round closer to 7 am start so I can get ahead of the slower players

Management could have planned to NOT PUT Tournaments on SATURADAY MORNING.

THIS WILL BE AVOIDED AGAIN.

Course was in terrific shape. Staff was super friendly. Pace of play was good. Greens rolled nice. Plus free beverage card with booking. Restaurant is very nice with good food.

I had a fun round. The course is a gettable layout, very pretty as well. For someone that’s better at golf, I’m sure it would be a challenge from the further tees, but I played from the whites and it had some fun decisions. The greens were great, my issue with the conditions was the fairways. There were mud patches that took up large parts of certain fairways. Thankfully I couldn’t hit the fairway to save my life, but I’m sure people were losing balls in the mud, plus you can’t drive in the fairways. Also, played at 945 on a Friday, was cruising through the front 9 (me plus 2 in group) and then got caught on a backup of 7 groups :/ that extended the tee time to 4 hours. Overall, would recommend for a fun time.

I booked this course through GolfNow. It is not the first time we've played there and like the course. Unfortunately, a heavy downpour occurred just after we teed off on the 6th hole. We drove the cart under a tree hoping that the rain would pass quickly, but that was not the case. We finally made our way back to the clubhouse when thunder and lightning started. The manager gave us rainchecks in the amount of $25 each and told us that was all he could do since we had booked through GolfNow instead of the course itself. I'm not sure that GolfNow issues refunds unless the course is closed prior to the inclement weather. One of the things I like about the course is it has a restaurant that is attached to the pro shop and they always give you a coupon for a free beverage after your round. The restaurant is like a sports bar with a bar, tables, and large screen TVs showing sports.

Awesome greens, great layout. Little tricky if you haven’t played there before. It was my first time, but I can’t wait to get back.

The course conditions were great. The layout very good and the Customer service staff was extremely friendly and courteous.
