About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

Tough and challenging course. The greens are fantastic.
The course is in great shape and the greens are wonderful. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Super friendly staff. The course is in great shape and the greens are wonderful. The Pace of play for a Sunday morning was awesome.
Greens much better now
Took 4.5 hours to play. There was no marshal on the course to speed up the slower groups in front of me. I played a few weeks after they reopened and this was my second round back. The greens were rolling at a very good pace; they were faster than I thought they would be.
They need to train the beverage cart person. She passed me 4 times and did not stop once to ask if I wanted anything.
CL is in great shape
A little cold and the ground was still a little soft but the fairways and greens are in very good shape. Greens are firm and putts roll true. A few spots need some more time to fill in around sides of greens and where the sprinkler lines were installed in the fairways but they are not a problem. Good value.
Course in great condition
As always staff was very helpful and professional. Course is in great condition and greens are challenging and pristine condition.
Greens redone and getting better
All of the recent reviews are pretty spot on. The greens were redone and are getting better. There are no yardage markers on any of the holes. Seems simple but super necessary. Should be next on their list of easy improvements.
Great course
Course was in great condition. Staff was very professional and friendly as always. Looking forward to Playing again there soon.
All that time closed and yet so much room for improvement
Pros:
Greens were green and rolled well for the most part. Lots of subtle breaks you expect on a championship course—not a $40 course.
$38 is a good price point plus tax for this course.
Clubhouse bathrooms very clean.
Come:
Golf cart too forever to accelerate and was slow overall.
Bunkers were not edged and defined. Almost too much sand (imagine a muffin with the sand overlapping the bunkers.
No front pin placements. All middle to back.
On course bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in probably five years. Can’t imagine being a lady and encountering those on course facilities.
No on course water coolers.
Lots of invasive snails and eggs along waters edge. Need to address that.
Tee boxes were not level. This could have been done during the renovation.
Favorite Course In The Area
Big fan of the course, will definitely play again.
