Very nice course and club
Although this is a private club, we got on with a visiting PGA Professional. The course was in immaculate condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The golf carts were the most comfortable I have ever ridden in. Course provides iced bottled water about every 3 holes. Iced Florida water towels also provided, which were very comforting since the temp got up to 94 degrees. Food in the grill room was very good. It was a very enjoyable outing; checked off my bucket list. Hope I can play it again.
A real treat
Metairie CC is a very exclusive private club I had the privilege to play. Staff is wonderful and treated me as if I was a member. The course is in impeccable condition with not a blade of grass out of place. The landscaping is stunning as well. The course itself is not overly difficult from tee to green, however with every green elevated it will truly test your short game and put an emphasis on your approach shots. Metairie CC is a spectacular golf and country club. If ever invited back, that is an invitation I would never turn down.
