Rancho Manana Golf Club has one of the prettier courses in Cave Creek-Scottsdale, located high in the Sonora and combining vistas with testing golf. It offers a par-70 championship golf course laid out over elevations that change dramatically right up alongside the untouched desert and the indigenous wildlife that comes with that, as well as an old-school dude ranch that has been incorporated into the golf resort. Low-handicap golfers will be challenged by the golf course, but it's not so tough that other levels of golfer will be turned away.

The Rancho Manana Golf Club offers golf to the public and is conveniently located just 20 minutes off the highway.

After a round of golf at the Rancho Manana Golf Club, stick around for around and maybe some eats at the Tonto Bar & Grill, which has received several awards and is listed among Arizona's top 100 restaurants.

Don't be fooled by the yardage :)

Great course. The card says 6,000 yards but it's a very interesting and somewhat challenging course for an average golfer. Course was in very good condition. Very enjoyable.

Great Day But Slow Play at Rancho Manana!

Course is short but well-maintained with picturesque vistas. Pro shop & outside ops staff were very friendly and eager to please their patrons. We liked that the course was outside of town and a little off the beaten path. The ONLY downside was that we never saw a marshall/player assistant which likely contributed to the unmonitored slow play that day. My buddy and I are pretty low key so we decided to ask the starter if we could scramble two balls each knowing that we were trapped behind tow foursomes(who also happened to turn out to be excessively slow). despite that, I would definitely recommend you play here, especially if you want to save a few bucks over the courses in or closer to Scottsdale/Phoenix.

Fun course

Beautiful and challenging. My only complaint is that the sand traps are so hard that it almost isn’t worth playing out of them. I will be back, so I’m not trying to be too critical. I had a great time & it is a fun course !

Great experience

Tee time was 7:52am but we didn’t get out there until 9am. This course has frost delays most days during the winter. We finished in 3 hours in a group of 3 as the first group out. Incredibly beautiful course with a nice layout and tons of elevation. Not super long. People who work in the pro shop are also very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this course!

Better be accurate!

Lovely layout & scenery. Conditions were great except for the bunkers which sometimes had little sand and hard bottoms - led to some nasty overhits. Definitely some holes you'd play differently if you had a re-do. I'd play the front from the whites and the back from the blues.
