About
Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

Good Value
Fun course to play, greens are pretty good after plugged a few weeks back. Good value and friendly staff.
Fun short course
This course is great price for practice play! Had fun :)
A nice local course more in line with an executive course
This is a small local course. It's pretty flat and short so makes for a fairly easy course to play. I went in the afternoon in summer and it was VERY quick round ... maybe about 3 hours. For what it is, it's a nice course and I would love to have a place in the community.
Great 9 holes
Great time and great price for walking rate for 9 holes. Course is flat so walking is fine of course it was hot but it's Late June in AZ.
not on 10
course is looking sad for summer just starting and when the pace is going good and you have very slow people playing ie 28 minutes for hole 13 they should never let people start a round of 9 on the 10th
Perfect for what it is
Is this a Tiger Woods design quality course? No. But if you’re looking for a straight forward, relatively easy course with consistently good conditions (especially the greens compared to most courses in the summer) and great value, don’t sleep on Desert Sands! It’s my go to value course.
Good outing
T boxes were in great shape, fairways decent and for this time big the year the greens were pretty good. Great pace of play and lucked out on weather.
Great for the money
Fun quick course only real difficulty I personally had was the raised greens. Could definitely mess with your head on a few of the holes. Also dependent on the hole placement. Great for any level of play.
Fun round
Played with my Bride (new golfer) super welcoming got paired with great guys. Fun Low key course.
Summer prices are back!!
Love these summer prices! Plus, there's hardly anyone on the course! Played 18 holes in 1 hour 45min!! Course has held up nicely with the over seeding and watering that they are doing! Great job!!
