The course is in much better shape than it was last year. The only complaint I would have would be the mounds on the greens, making it very difficult to put to putt. We really enjoy golfing at this course.
Desert Sands is in great condition.
The new owner deserves some props for keeping this course in the best shape I have ever seen it.
The green are tough as heck and putting can be tricky but that part of the charm there.
Change the Greens
The course is a good length and only a few ponds and traps. The greens, however, are upside bowls making to impossible to stay on even when you hit the green and even more challenging to avoid putting off. They are ridiculous and ruin an otherwise reasonably challenging course for an average golfer like me.
Good Saturday!
Picked up the house deal as a single . Got paired with threesome, with similar skill level and not overly serious.
Course is in better shape then it has been in a while. Greens are hard and not receptive which makes for a tougher round with the turtle back greens. Some very tough bordering on un fair pin locations .
Good value for the money! Will be back.
Dated course but harder than..
The course amenities are dated. Club house has a nostalgia old school military MWR feel.
Course itself isn't overly long but the turtle back greens make it a challenge. Comparable to Queen Valley
