About
The golf course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club is a beautifully designed layout set against a desert landscape with rock formations, mesquite trees, and cacti. Pete and Perry Dye designed the course, combining both beauty and challenge. This championship course was built on rolling terrain and has large, sharply contoured greens and extensive mounding that is reinforced with railroad ties. There are not only deep sand bunkers but also grass bunkers protecting the greens. There are also four ponds on the course at Red Mountain Ranch & Country Club, but only three create water hazards that come into play on four holes. A notable hole on the course in which water comes into play is the sixth, a hole that has a peninsula green with water surrounding it along three sides.

Great time!
We got a really good rate and had an awesome time. Perfect blend of challenging, fun and amazing views! I’ll be back!
Course was in really excellent shape. As a Pete Dye course, it was lots of rolling hills and mounds and, with cart path only, there was a lot of tough walking for an old guy. Very scenic and would definitely play here again. Snack bar was disappointing. . $20 for two hotdogs and one iced tea and the dogs were not even very good!

Decent course
Tough course, over seeding and cart path only made for a lot of hilly walking. I only give the greens a 3, pretty rough, no smooth rolling. I’m sure in several weeks they will improve. Would play again when I can drive on the course.
This is a great golf course to play . You have to use every club in your bag . I can't wait to play it again Steve winnipeg manitobaa.
Red Mountain
Great Pete Dye course. Great condition, great layout, great staff and great food and drink at the Players grill. I would definitely play this course again.
Overseeded but good
Cart path only……greens a little bumpy…..pace of play good.Fun layout but would be much more difficult if greens were fast.
Too slow, bad management
We teed off 30 minutes late, due to a poorly managed school tournament that went over. Took us 3.5 hours to play 9 holes and had to quit.
Painful pace
Took over 5 hrs to play, horrible pace, no ranger monitoring pace of play.
Impressive Pete Dye course
Extremely friendly staff, nice course considering the time of year and grass conditions. Pace of play was great, rangers were visible and willing to move people along as needed. I will definitely return to play this course
Great Day
Teed off early morning and had a nice cool wind blowing for the first 4 holes. Course was in good condition and the overseeding was not so evident. Greens where evenly paced across the entire 18 which made for good putting conditions. Greens where receptive and bounces on the fairway good. Pace of play was a bit slow due to no cart on fairway however nothing too long. Overall a very enjoyable experience and would recommend.
Beautiful Red Mountain
We love this golf course. It’s pretty, and somewhat challenged without being too difficult.
