North Palm Beach Country Club

This is a nice public course. Carts were VERY up to date with a great GPS system in it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Greens were fast with LOTS of undulations. For a Florida course there is a fair amount of elevation to the course. A few bare spots around the greens where there is a lot of foot traffic but not sure there is much that can be done.

This is a challenging but fun course. Greens were all sandy; I wouldn't expect this at this time of year.

Course was in really nice condition. Beautiful layout. Green were 12.5, fast and undulating, which is typical of Nickalas Courses. Even a nice 5 iron that hits 8 ft from the pin can roll back off the green. A bit unfair in my book , but that's golf. Not terribly long from the whites so you can make up shots on par fives and usually had a 8 or 7 iron into the green n the par 4's. I'd love to play it again, now that I know what to expect! definitely ranks up theer in the top 10 public courses i've played!

This is a good course. Soft greens, but very undulating and tricky approaches. With hard greens the course would give one fits. Fringes/edges need some work, but fairways and greens in decent condition and fast. Good, friendly staff. I'd definitely play again.

A bit quirky. Several greens silly. Thus play is too slow. Nicklaus penalties where hit good shots. Condition just average. Expected more. plan on almost 5 hours.

Public course with helpful, happy staff. Lovely course with rolling fairways and really FAST challenging greens. Best to be less aggressive and definitely do not overshoot the hole!

Overall, North Palm Beach CC has a nice layout with very fast greens. It took me several holes to get the pace right. However, it was my first round of the year and I am from the midwest. The condition of the course was fair to good. I agree with other statements regarding upkeep. They manage the course with a small staff and some areas need improvement. I played early in the morning with two members who were friendly and we played the round in under 4 hours. We did wait a few times on each hole, but for only a couple of minutes. The course was packed by the time I left. It does get a lot of traffic. The rentals were Callaway Razr X and they were ok. If you can get a rate for around $75 then go for it. Also, it's an easy walk, but I chose to ride.

Jack designed, golfer approved! One of the greatest courses I have ever played. Tough layout but not to long.

Greens fees were reasonable. However, we were whacked with a $26/rider cart fee (total of $52. for two riders!), to pay for their new carts with GPS screens that were difficult to read because they were dash mounted. The sun shone on the screens more often than not and made them tough to read. However, the software was intuitive and easy to use.

I will definitely go back. Real hard in places, elevation changes all over and some real tough greens. I had a great time. Very scenic views on most holes, some of which are truly beautiful and make you feel lucky to be playing golf in such an environment. Mr. Nicklaus did a great job on this course.

Really cool layout and nice greens. Bunkers need some work to really make the course stand out.

A Jack Nicklaus do-over course that has rolling fairways thats fair to play. A lot of local seniors love to play in Palm Beach Gardens. there are views of the inter coastal waterway and yachts.

Par golf starts on the undulating greens where one might 3-4 or 5 putt some greens if your land in the wrong spot. Very slippery. Land and play beneath the hole on these fast greens.

This is a very challenging course. The holes are a very good design. I have read a lot of the reviews about the greens, that is a typical Nicklaus course so there is no surprise there. The issue is with the condition of the course. A GOOD course should have a very distinct difference between rough and fairway - this course does not. A lot of very tight lies and bare lies - for $109 that cannot be. If maintained, the course has the potential to be very good. But like most municipal courses, if the people play in this condition (I was told 220 rounds per day) and pay the money, what is the advantage to the course spending the money to maintain? None - so they keep it in a below average state. I was really looking forward to this course, unfortunately, would not recommend this to any for the money. Its a $60 course in the winter and $35 in the summer - then I would recommend it.

Overall, a fun course. Very interesting...elevation changes, no 2 holes the same.Beware- greens are very fast and very sloped/undulated. Five sets of tees...so select the tee that matches your ability/handicap...if you don't, you'll pay a price.
Being macho will only result in a big number!

Greens very inconsistent, in both speed and condition. Great views of Intracoastal!.

I have played North Palm Beach CC a few times last year and loved the course.This year I came back to find the greens super fast and a little tricky. Probably because we followed a tournament earlier in the day. The greens hold long irons in and have a true roll. I will be back.
