About
North Palm Beach Country Club is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway atop the Seminole Ridge, offering scenic views and a rolling terrain covered with natural oak hammocks. The golf course is one of only two municipal courses in the country that are Jack Nicklaus Signature courses. It has received much acclaim for being not only one of the best public golf courses in Florida, but also one of the best publics in the U.S. There are rolling fairways and undulating greens, many of which are fiercely guarded by bunkers. Although a bevy of challenges has been built into the course, flexibility was also incorporated into the design with five sets of tees. North Palm Beach Country Club offers playability to a range of skill levels but from the back tees it is a formidable challenge to even the most advanced golfers.

Very tough greens
The carts do not last for 18 hoes. The batteries die. Other than that its a nice course for off season money. Way over priced in season.
Great course but difficult
The course is great, but don't expect miracles if your a ten handicap or highter ! Lot of three puts on those fast and challenging greens!

Enjoyable, yet challenging
Undulating greens were very exciting and fast, in most cases,
defended well by well placed bunkers.
The course is well maintained, open with lot of water and hilly features.
Had a great round
The course was challenging and the greens were tough all an all had a fun day, this was the best Municipal course I have ever played, I’ll be back.
Bring your working putter!
Fastest greens and most undulating greens I have ever putted. Bunkers in fairways are placed to catch drives from all tee boxes. Pretty scenery, located right on the intercoastal waterway. Do yourself a favor a play a round!
Very challenging golf course. Green for pros.
Greens very difficult and under repair. Nice layout and could play very long.
Most interesting municipal I've ever played
Awesome hole design invites you to think your way around the golf course, with difficult green complexes for the most part. Not especially penal in the rough makes in playable for the average player but rewarding for the better. Greens are fast and roll true, but currently have an issue on the collars that they are re-sodding to fix. Best value in Palm Beach County, especially at discounted summer rates.

Tour level challenges.
A taste of tour level challenges in a muni setting. Excellent greens for the money. Carts have GPS.
Fast unddulating greens abd unddulating fairways. Target play on most holes.
Make sure to bring your "A" game. This course is challenging, but pricy. Staff are nice, and pace of play is good. I plan to play here a lot more, but only through "Golf Now."
Very Enjoyable Layout
Played the back tees. The 7071 seemed shorter, as majority of tee shots are downhill and roll out well. I was planning to move to blue tees on some holes but never felt the need. Every hole was fun to play and not overly difficult. I had heard horror stories about this course but found it very fair and not overly penal.
Greens were slow and bumpy which was surprising given reviews on this site. Looks like aerification occurs on May 23 so it's probably just a result of catching them at the end of the season. While I feel the greens took 5-6 shots off my 78 (multitude of misses 8 feet in) it was still a very enjoyable round.
Other positives; Location between bodies of water helped keep it cool on a hot day.
Negative; Bunkers need work. Cart disable feature is pain in the butt. Areas where disabling occurs are not well marked so it happens fairly frequently. I think the course would be well served to apply that attention injstead to the condition of the bunkers.
