About
The Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and built in 1997. The par-72 golf course measures 7,145 yards from the tournament tees. "I enjoy designing golf courses that celebrate the sheer fun of golf," Palmer said about this course, "and Wildfire is exactly that."
The Bermuda grass Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club is one of two championship courses at the club. It features a GPS option that offers golfers detailed mapping of the Faldo and Palmer courses, precise yardages for tee shots and approach shots to the greens, and the chance to order breakfast and lunch from the golf cart. Additional features include communication with the golf shop, a CBS Sportsline ticker with all scores 24 hours a day, and the leader board for tournaments. Its sibling, the Faldo golf course, also features the system.

Great shape, great summer rate, and overall a fun course

Great course first time playing they have nice little touches like free range balls, bottle water and ice towels on the 10th hole to cool you down.
TOP TEN IN PHOENIX
Everything about this course was great. Tee boxes, greens, fairways, staff and clubhouse. Will play every time I am in Phoenix.
Palmer Course is in Good Shape
From tee to green, Palmer GC was in good playing condition. Of course with the desert heat, it is necessary to water routinely; however, the front of most greens were heavily watered (as were some adjacent traps), stopping the ball in its tracks, which was not my intention, when I was expecting a roll-out. Pace of play was good (less than 4 hours), as was value (thank you, TeeOff). Enjoy this course (and its sister) while summer rates are in place.
Amazing
Beautiful course , must play , friendly staff , beautiful fairways , well maintained. Absolute pleasure to play , maybe I would compare this with Sedona Golf course . I would say the best I have played till date .
A lot of fun but $$$$
Played the Palmer course, which was a lot of fun. Course was in good shape and pace of play was great. The only downside was the cost of rental clubs. Most places charge $50-60, which is a fair price. This course robbed me of $125 for clubs.

Nice golf club not so nice pro shop staff not welcoming and could not have car Redbox less if you played here 🙁
Great Golf Course
We were here on a vacation. Enjoyed everything about this course Great layout, great staff, and a beautiful course to play. Everything was in great shape. Playing again today
No restaurants until 11
Had a 9am t time and wanted to get a Bloody Mary and a plate of breakfast before my round and I was informed the only restaurant opens at 11 which isn’t very resort esc if you know what I mean. Other then that the Palmer course was absolutely fantastic, practice facilities could use newer balls but that’s just nitpicking. Overall 4 stars would be 5 if there was just a open restaurant before my morning rounds
Amazing Experience!
Course was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The course was exactly what I expected from a Phoenix course. Amazing views on almost every hole. It was great.
