Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club
About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.
At the Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, Robert Trent Jones II demands strategic and varied shooting, meaning the round of golf will challenge as well as refresh golfers.
After the round at the Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, head back to the casual elegance of the clubhouse.

Golfer Reviews
Good course
Slow play. I wish a Marshal would have made the group ahead of us play faster but there wasn’t a Marshal anywhere to be found
Need a marshall!
We would have finished our round if the course had a marshall. The four men in front of us would not hit until the group in front of them were on the green even on Par 5"s. We waited on every hole while they had their drinks and their stories and then watched them hit the ball - not very far. When you have expected times to play each hole then it is expected you will enforce it.
DVRGC is almost there
Now that overseeding is complete, the course just needs a few more weeks to be at its best. New grasses are doing well; however, more time is needed before ideal cutting can occur on tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens. At present, there is little ball roll on the fairways and the greens are slow. Sand traps have sufficient sand depth. Pace was good (just under 4 hours), as was value (with Hot Deal).
Good to be Home!
Dove Valley was my home course for 6yrs before moving away for work for 15 months
Well Im back and Dove is better than ever
Just reseeded and have never seen this course in such great condition.
Pace of play was great 3.5hrs
Only downfall was No Cart Girl
Excited to be home and have Dove as my Home Course again!
First Time Playing this Course
Really fun and favorable front nine. The need to cut down several trees on the back nine so you have an idea where you’re hitting to! Cart path only when I played - probably wouldn’t have gone out if I’d known that.
I will definitely go back.
Recovering slowly from overseed
About average conditions for this time of year. Greens look like they could be cut a little lower as the speed was slowwwww and that’s tough when you are used to fast.
Otherwise fun round in the heat!
Location next to construction and roadways decreased to ambiance.
Fun and plenty challenge
Firs time playing a desert course. I thought I was going to
Melt in the Arizona sun but it was actually not bad at 105f and never broke a sweat. One thing is for sure if you don’t hit the fairways don’t bother looking for your ball in the waste areas. Unfriendly critters in there you cannot even see. Ahh. And roadrunners don’t actually “beep beep” like the cartoon
Well worth a visit
Payed just a few days before closure for over-seeding, however it was still in very good condition and the layout was fun with some challenging holes. Would definitely play it again when next in the area.
Very solid
Love the layout. Greens were in great shape for late summer. Course was a little wet from rain, but not too bad. Only complaint are bunker conditions. Thin, rocky and consistantly awful.
Dove Valley review
Golf course was in great shape , The lunch snd wait staff was very good. Greens were slow which I did not like. From the back tees maintenance needs to clear views so you can see what is in front of you as to how to play the hole. This was on the back 9. The staff made sure you had ice in the cart and plenty of water bottles. Over all experience was great course was very scenic but my only two issues were green speed and vegetation growth that did not allow you to see where you were hitting your shot. Again this was from the back tees which I’m sure is the least played tee. Course price was very good and again the staff did a great job with food and making sure of your hydration. A great idea would be to bump the price up $5 and provide a yardage book. If in the area you should play as price is fair and good is good and staff is good
Great Shape
the course was in great shape!!! we weren’t waiting and we weren’t pushing, saw the cart girl often!. the course is challenging without looking challenging especially the back nine! the rates here today were a value!
This course is a favorite!
