About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

Dove Valley Ranch Golf
Nice Course and clubhouse, good conditions and course layout. As a first time visitor to this course, I found a few holes to be a bit disorienting with some of the sharp doglegs and not knowing exactly how far to hit the ball. Local course knowledge is definitely a benefit for playing this course. Shot 80, but could have been lower with a better idea of the layout. Maybe a nice yardage book and map of the course would add to the enjoyment of first timers.

Not as good as in the past ten years
The service from the outside staff needs a lot of improvement. There was no ice in the cart cooler so we had to add ice ourself from the nearby ice cooler with the large scooper. The tee time intervals were nine minutes which greatly helped the pace of play. But there was no starter on the first tee. There is no bathroom on the front nine, only a portable toilet. There is no fresh water on the course and no ball washers. Be sure you have a wet towel before you tee off on each nine. The pin placement on 16 was less than eight feet from the extreme front left of the green on a severe downslope and it was almost impossible to not putt the ball off the green. What used to be a very good course needs a lot of attention from management.
Challenging layout in great shape
Course layout was tough. Didn’t enjoy as much as other courses in valley.

Played round in less than 4 hours on a Saturday- outstanding!!!
Perfect
Had a great round here. Will come back again. Fastest round of golf I’ve ever played. Greens were crazy fast. Have to hit darts to stay on the greens.
Definetly worth a round
Good course, some goofy holes on the back 9.....but still worth it
Enjoyed our day
My husband and I played while on vacation and the course was in great shape. Fairways very generous and greens were good.
