About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

Winter golf
Dove Valley is a great course which offers great views, challanging course at reasonable rates. The greens are challanging: a lot of slope, hard, fast and true. Fairways are in good shape and the course maintenance team does a great job in all aspects.
Really nice track
We really enjoyed our first visit to Dove Valley Ranch. The course affords lots of space in an open desert environment. The course has lots of ups and downs and curves offering being bold or a bit more cautious. The electric cards and GPS were excellent. The back nine does have a few holes that would be easier to play after our first look of these holes.
Our only criticism is that the bag drop staff was disinterested and almost rude. The pro shop staff and on course food and beverage were very friendly and gracious.
Great track, but slow pace on the back nine!
Really enjoyed playing Dove Valley Ranch for the first time. Course was in great shape, but the pace dropped to mega slow the last nine holes. No pushing by a Marshall at all. Generally a very nice facility!
Greenskeeper must be getting divorced
We love this course, great condition, friendly staff, etc. but caught the greenskeeper on an obviously terrible day. We counted 7 pin placements less than 3 paces from edge of green, others very close to edge, on crowns, downslopes, etc. With quick greens, this made scoring very difficult and definitely lowered our usual enjoyment of the course. Three single digit handicap players and one a +3 and all agree pin placements were extremely punitive. Oh well, hope his divorce gets settled soon!
First timers at Dove Valley Ranch
First time playing Dove Valley Ranch. We enjoyed the course, great condition and challenging. Staff was great, knowledgeable and friendly. Hidden gem, highly recommend it.
Best shape I have ever seen a golf course in!
I have played Dove Valley couple times and it’s always been a nice course but this last time I played it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had on a golf course. The pace of play was perfect. The greens were perfect. The fairways were perfect. The weather was perfect. It was one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I’ve ever played in my life. I have never wrote a review for really anything and I had to go out of my to write this because of my experience. Also shot 74 from the tips so beat that haha
