Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

Ok I guess for the money, but outside staff are not attentive and busy with something other than guests. Driving range is meh.

Could be really good with a little more effort

We place Dove Valley Ranch on a Sunday morning. Course is in great shape as many in the area are in the transition period to the summer bermuda grass. We played in exactly 4 hours so pace of play was perfect. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Dove Valley Ranch does not disappoint!

Very dry. Greens were so hard the ball just bounced off the surface. Took 5 hours to play, too long.

Pros: Course was in great condition. Played in less than 4 hours. We saw the Drink cart multiple times on each nine. Greens rolled true.

Course is walkable, altho it's a hike from 10 to 11 and from 17 to 18. GPS on carts.

Cons: front and back nines are like playing two different courses. There wasn't a flow. The front nine is wide open, grip it and rip it. The back nine was tight, blind shot, target golf.

Also, the driving range was closed for maintenance.

the course is fun, usually in great shape, and for the money I just feel like is a great value compared to you other choices within a 20 mile radius..

Good course and in very good shape. Very forgiving fairways, fun to play. Staff was courteous and friendly

It was great to play a course that properly maintained the bunkers. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be sure you have enough fresh water in the cart cooler, because there is no water on the course.

Bring your A game. The front nine is a good warmup to manage your shots on the back. The back nine is a lot tighter and you will enjoy it, but you will need to select your clubs wisely. I enjoyed the course and will play it again.

Only item was pace of play on back. Should have ranger for the cost to play

The course is in good condition. The back nine is a bit more challenging and tighter than the front nine. Greens roll true. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Practice area is above average. Course bunkers have rakes. Unfortunately, no water is available on the course to refill your containers.

Fairways and greens are sun-baked and hard. If you can get your ball to stop on a green, you might have a pin position in the middle of a slope, which is stupid. The course was clean and pace was good. Rental clubs were a bit beat up for $40. At $100 for an afternoon tee time, I expected a little more in terms of course conditions. It was either here or the Boulders for double the cost. I am staying at the Boulders and wishing I would have paid the $200+ to play one the really lush courses here.

No complaints about anything. Everything is top quality
