Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

Okay so I'll start by saying I'm not a a pro! Second, myself and 2 others were on our way to the 17th tee when were stopped by a large ginger guy and told that we were behind schedule. According to him the whole course should take less that 4 hours and 10 minutes, he also said there were others behind us. We were at exactly 4 hours and 9 minutes when this occurred without taking a lunch. Lol this is the kicker right here pay attention, I then said and I quote "well then I wont I be back" and he replied "that's fine". We continued on and I was very annoyed but we all hurried even more to be courteous to the supposed players behind us and we finished the game without ever seeing another player behind us. So if that's what my $92 for 18 gets me then so be it. Obviously I won't be back lol but that's fine apparently. Only good thing I have to say about this place is that the cart girl Jen is a delight.

Our round took nearly five hours to complete, during which tine our golf cart was hit twice by other golfers. Greens were in poor shape. Simply not worth the money.

4:45 round of golf with never seeing a Marshall the entire day. Also greens need some grass on them. Not sure , but not sure the overseeding of the greens worked. Also bunkers need some sand

I am a very middle of the road golfer- played as a single (female). Always feel a little anxious. Paired up with 2 lovely guys. No stress. Played probably the best game I have ever. Pace of play was perfect. Conditions were great and staff were all very friendly. I think it was great value and I will plan to come again!

Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with helping us with our clubs in and out of car and every step after....game play was fast enough to keep things moving...ground crew was extremely polite and would always stop doing what they are doing while we were playing near them...they were very considerate of there loud machines and to not be a hinderance to players near them. For the amount of money we spent to play i was absolutely thrilled with the experience and couldn’t have been happier!

Great day to play golf in the hills near Cave Creek 2 of us got paired up with a couple guys who have been life long friends and I was with a friend of 52 years. Their game was similar to ours and we simply had a great time.

This course is nice to play. Good condition and nice layout. A few holes need course management, which was interesting and fun.

Staff very friendly, course is busy, driving range tee boxes are getting rough. Greens were moderate fast but not very receptive to approach shots, played better as a pitch and run coarse.

The course was in fine shape, pace of play was good and the staff was fine. There were several holes that had weird layouts that you can’t figure out without playing the course a couple times and the Porto potties were awful

I found this course on Golfnow. We got to the course early and had brunch. From the moment we drove in to the parking lot and walked into clubhouse/bar area we were treated like family! This is not bar food it was a very nice restaurant meal, hearty and delicious (my spicy breakfast burrito was awesome ) Jen P and Aubrey were fantastic host/server/bartenders just outstanding ladies, thank you both! I checked us in after food and Jeff was so nice, and friendly, I bought merchandise (which I did not need or expect to buy) We ate first, drank then took our clubs to the starter got out early on the course and had a phenomenal experience. Course was outstanding, pace was good, we really had a wonderful experience! Every time we are in this area we will play Dove Valley! Keep doing what you are doing at the DV can’t wait to see you again, thank you very muck kids Awesome!!! Oh an the young lady at bag drop was just the best ever, and she worked a full day and was cheerful start to finish thanks and we tipped her well! Bye till again soon!

The fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are hard and extremely fast. Greens are undulating and huge. Hard to miss them but staying there is a lot more challenging. Almost need to land short and roll up on the green. The front nine has wide fairways and you can let the big dog eat on most holes. Sand traps need some more sand as many are hard and difficult to shoot from. The back nine requires target golf as a lot of holes can’t use a driver ofF the tee box. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our round was 4 hours so the pace was great.

Course was in good but not great shape. Pace of play was good a 4 hour round for a foursome. Will be back

I've now played 52 courses in the valley over the last 11 years. I think this is the best value anywhere. Great design, fair shot requirements, lousy driving range, good food inside, greens need attention, but if they're recently moved they put just fine. Excellent value

Overall a fun day made more enjoyable with th e3 folks I played with Bob, Gary and Veronica.

Didn't hear a swear word the whole round!

Played front 9 in just under 2 hours but not sure what happened on the back 9 had to wait every shot so it was about 4 and a half hour round.

Greens need some help very bumpy with the disease that they have which surprised me because it is peak season so I was expecting better conditions.

Not sure if the greens will ever recover.

But enjoyed my day with those I was paired with.

Course in nice shape, greens rolled nice and where fast but the sand bunkers were not the best, very little sand in the bunkers I was in.
