About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Solid Course
I really enjoy this course. Starting to show some summer “roughness “ but hey we would all show some wear and tear in the heat. It’s a great course and well worth it. If anything just wish we knew what the distance is on the range. You will love playing here.

Great Staff
Great pace of play. Good value for your money. Everyone from the clubhouse to the bar area greeted me and and were very friendly. Great job! Course is in decent shape considering everything is in transition. Course is open but still challenging.

Good Summer Round
I normally play this course 4-5x during the summer. It’s never a 5 star place but it always better than most mid range courses around the area. I’m not a scratch golfer by any means, so this a great deal for me and the guys.

Always fun. Great challenge and enjoyable
Staff is always nice and friendly. Played with two strangers - who were both nice and fun. Course is in great shape and wide enough so right and left misses present challenges but do not blow you up. Love it hear and recommend for the casual, fun, enjoy the beauty of Arizona type of people.

This course is a good challenge for all golfer levels; pace of play was excellent (18 holes in 2 hours); friendly staff; fairways and greens in good shape; try to stay on the fairways; an excellent value for the money.

Good course for the money
Greens in good shape. Fairways average, but good course for the money. Played 18 in just over 3 hours.

Good course, terrible rangers
We have played here before and enjoyed the course. Aside from the hard sand traps and patchy grass on the fairways, it was OK. This time,the ranger was extremely rude and informed us that one wheel of our cart was touching the grass next to the cart path on the tee. Never been an issue in the 7 or 8 years we have played this course. We were informed the cart was to ALWAYS be on the concrete path. Near the green, there is a large dirt area adjacent to the cart path, so we pulled off slightly to let other carts pass if desired. We were informed that our cart was not fully on the concrete and if we had to be warned again he would take our key and make us walk the rest of the way. That was the LAST time we will play this course!!

Need sand in the greenside bunkers!
I have played this course dozens of times over the past many years. The bunkers around the greens have never had much sand in them. They've always been basically sandy dirt. This most recent round, however, the bunkers were very wet, so they were sandy mud. I've always been able to use a wedge, instead of a sand wedge, to play out of them, usually with great success. Not this past round. The club would dig into the mud and stop, thus I left the ball in the bunker a few times during my round. I was told by a course ranger many years ago that the reason for lack of sand is that the "snowbirds" like to be able to putt out of the bunkers. My comment to him-that's not golf. As far as the rest of the course on my most recent round-it was in pretty good shape. Greens were a little dried out and crusty, but to be expected on most public courses around here this time of year. They putted good, mostly true. Fairways were green. Overall, the course is a good value for the price. And yes, I will be back as I have always liked the layout and I consider it to be "user friendly".
