About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Greens were slow and furry, fairway and rough spotty ruined the entire round. left after 9
Great staff and amenities
This time of year many golf courses do not offer food, drinks, beverage cart or water on course but Las Cokinas had all of these. Staff was exceptionally friendly and you never feel like you are being watched or rushed. The course is fairly wide open and good for all skill levels. Nothing too challenging or unique here.
The service and amenities are enough to go back regularly and the course is enjoyable and in decent shape.

Tee boxes need some love
The course was green and much softer then the last time I played due to the rains. The greens were great and rolled true. However, the tee boxes on most holes need some work.

The green grass of Arizona
A rain filled July and August has all of the valley course lush with green grass. Los Colinas is no exception. Typically not a very difficult layout. The course’s only defense are the small undulating multilevel greens. Now add to that a deep, nasty Bermuda rough. Definitely need to hit fairways. The place is not pristine, but it’s not bad either. Staff is terrific, some really great, helpful guys. Very enjoyable round and for $30 … very very enjoyable round. Truly a great deal!

Good Value
Staff very friendly; pace of play excellent; course was wet from the recent monsoon storm but is greening up nicely and is playable for all player levels. I like coming back to this course.

Ok experience
The course on the back nine was tore up from aerating and no one let me know this was going on before I booked my teatime they gave me a coupon for another round so they made it right

Good Value
Good challenge and good value; pace of play excellent; staff friendly. Greens need cutting and cut grass all over the course from maintenance posed a challenge. Good course though.

Lot of storm damage
have played here many times. This is the worst condition I have ever seen. Lot of storm damage to be cleaned-up.
Greens were recently punched, that is to be expected.
Lots of singles mixed in between groups.. I never understand why they do not pair these people up. It would smooth play and enhance the experience.
Course is usually a good value, at the moment I do not recommend playing it

Needs more water
I’ve been playing this course for 10 years and I’ve never seen the course in this kind of shape. Fairways had a lot of brown and bare spots, the sand traps were literally mud. However, the greens were in pretty good shape and rolled true. In all fairness, it’s summer time in AZ and it has been exceptionally hot.

First round
My son and I played today. I would say the course is great but since he beat me for the first time I’ll have to down grade it a notch. Just kidding… he is 12 and has a pretty good swing so this course from the longer of the quail tees is perfect for him. I played the back tees and found it a pretty relaxed distance especially if you’re not driving the ball 300+ yards off the box. We will definitely keep it in mind for future rounds.

Good course layout
Course was fun, challenging, only issue was the dead spots on the fair ways and the muddy sand traps.
