About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Nice Course
Got stuck behind a women's Mini-Tour event. Really slow.
Mostly Happy
Had a hour and 15 minute frost delay, would be nice if we could notified before we arrive so we could adjust our arrival time. Giolfnow should work with the course and send us an email concerning the long delay. But overall a good day of golf. A litter slow but not terrible.

I love this course
This is my ideal course, not far from my house. Have been playing this course for 12 years.

Pace of play was truly excellent as played during the middle of snowbird season. Only negative is that those playing the course seemingly do not know that they are supposed to repair ball marks on greens and rake bunkers after playing. Can't pin that on the course but point a finger of those guilty hackers to lazy to maintain the course for all.

Well-kept course
This is a well-kept course for the money in this area. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. The greens are challenging. So while the course may be fairly straight forward, the greens can make the hole challenging to hole out. The sand traps are more dirt than sand, but that's true of most courses in this price range.

Gone downhill
Chipping green was not watered/dead, driving range bare dirt directly into the sun-difficult to get an idea how far the ball was travelling. Fairways were in good shape but all rough unwatered and lots of bare patches. Not worth the green fees

Goat Rope
When I checked in, playing as a single, I was told no one else had reserved the time so I would have to tee off immediaty. I asked if they had another group later I could play with. I was told no. When I arrived on the first tee it was a circus. Three Threesomes were milling about and the starter had the "Deer in the headlights look." I told the first threesome to tee off and joined the second fouresome. The starter was usless. We tee'd off nexrt the the third group fell in line. Starter, useless

pace of play
Course was in good condition. Pace of play was supposed to be 3:50 minutes. The round took us 4:20 minutes.. The course was totally booked. 3:50 is an unreal expectation for play.

Ace
GKV aced the 17th hole in windy conditions 133 yards. Our 4-some had a blast! Clubhouse was closed at 05:00 pm so cocktails were postponed until other arrangements were made.

Excellent and fun
A blue bird day and nearly the course to ourselves. Freeways very green, greens terrific. Off fairways punishment ensues, but you should have been in the fairway anyway! Staff accommodating, the lady in the snack/bar area especially pleasant. Overall way better than several weeks ago, which was very slow and tedious. Good luck out there!

overcharging
course is in descent shape several places had standing water and greens were slower than usual. The gent in the club house was nicer than the previous guy. But the starter need to communicate better or get an updated tee sheet. Just like most courses right now asking for way more than usual.

This course keeps getting better every time I come back to it, the superintendent is doing a GREAT job with the fairways and the greens are the BEST I've ever seen them, GREAT JOB!!! .... AND I gotta give kudos to ALL the staff that worked that day friendly, upbeat and professional

Slow Pace
I like this course, but was a little disappointed this time out. The greens were a little spongy, but otherwise in good shape. The pace on the back nine was extremely slow and there wasn't anyone out there to keep things moving along. Regardless, I'd recommend this course. It's fun and modestly challenging, and a good bargain.
