Las Colinas Golf Club

About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Terrible service, no rain checks
I felt like I was in a twilight zone episode once I arrived at this place. With a big sign by the check in that said “no rain checks”, I knew then this place is on borrowed time. Played 7 holes in a downpour the last 5 holes. Never. Again. Stay away.
No Rainchecks!
my buddy and I paid over $80 to play this mediocre course and we made sure to check the weather before we started because we do not like playing in the rain. The weather app showed cleared skies until later in the evening so we thought we were clear. Midway through the front nine it started to pour and the conditions became unplayable. At the turn we decided to call it quits and go get a rain check to which we were greeted with a sign on the desk that said “No Raincheck Allowed.” When I asked why the kid there rudely said that once you start playing and know
It’s going to rain, they do not allow refunds or rain checks. I told him I didn’t know it was going to rain or I would not have started and there was no sign or any mention of no rain checks when we checked in to start the round. They were rude and didn’t care that our round was ruined and wouldn’t do anything for us to make up for the lack of communication on their part. I’ve never not been able to get a rain check before when it rained. What a terrible way to start the day. Let’s just say I don’t plan to play here ever again and will spread the word as well to all my friends. Las Colinas sucks!
Chipping area and putting green
If you’re looking to work on your short game. Don’t go here
Chipping area is great shape but closed for no reason.
Putting green had no holes to put to, just a flagstick pushed in the green.
nice course, friendly staff
Nice course in decent condition.
The staff handled the frost delay well.
Had a great time
We were hooked to with two very nice gentleman and just had a nice relief day, the course was fun!
Green
The course is super well maintained. The sand is good and not dried out dirt. Definitely my go to corse and good prices?
very slow play
We never saw a ranger checking on the pace of the three foursomes in front of us. They were slow on their own, plus waiting on others. We quit at hole 15 after 4 hours.
$$$$
A costly round of golf for less than average course. Everything shut down by 6 even the washrooms and more concerned about having carts in by 6 than anything else. Pace of play good and marshal very friendly.
