The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

nice to play
To start, they were right on time and the lady starter was extremely friendly and helpful. Short par 4's from the white but challenging. Course in good shape.
Never disappoints
Always enjoy playing here. Price is right snd course is superbly maintained. Some reachable par 4’s make it fun but plenty of water and ways to challenge most any golfer.
Great course. Provide maps please.
The course was great. The score cards don’t contain a course map, which was frustrating. We had a golf instructor cut in front of us with his students and it slowed us down so we weren’t able to finish as many holes as intended (we were playing twilight).
Don't expect much.
The course design is simple with not a single bunker. The course is so crammed and the holes are stacked on top of each other, there is always people running onto your hole hitting their ball (to be fair I had to do it a couple times myself). Conditions were good so they had that going for them.
Overall not a horrible course, but definitely better courses to spend $50 dollars.
Late and Very Very Slow!!!
Course was over 30 minutes behind on tee times no explanation or notice when we paid. We found out when we went to he starter table. Lots and lots of beginners on the course. This course should take at most 3.5 hours to play. We had 1146 time. We teed off at 1220 and did not finish until just 4:45 . Round took 4 hours 25 minutes. Now understand this course is only just over 5000 yards long. Never once saw a Marshall on course except on the first tee box. We had 2 and sometimes 3 groups on every tee box. Course conditions were actually pretty good but hard to enjoy given the painfully slow pace.
Conditions
I played a resort course yesterday, and the course conditions at The Links blew then away! Plus, Val in the clubhouse was excellent!
The Big Links
Buddies drive down from Scottsdale, I'm over in Mesa so the drive isn't so bad for me. Love this course! This is the second time we have played and we are always amazed at the condition. Love the short par 4's and 5's. Will be returning soon!
Slow play too many snowbirds
Clubhouse guy was friendly and informative. Course in good shape with consistent greens. I only played 14 before I headed to the parking lot frustrated by the snow birds who didn’t offer to play through. Way too many slow foursomes and fivesomes log jammed the course. I will return in the late spring and summer months when the birds head north.
Very Playable Course
The Links is a fairly short course; most par 4s are 265-350 yards. Par 3s are also fairly short. That being said, there are enough water hazards and trees to keep the average player honest. As an added bonus, it is not unusual at all to finish a round is 3.5 hours.
Not fair to rate because it rained so lots of water on the course and cart path only play.
