The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Excellent Day!
The Links at Queen Creek are in great shape our compliments to all those responsible.
Greens are fast and smooth.
Excellent food and beverage services, moderately priced.
A well stocked Pro Shop with friendly staff.
Keep up the good work we will see you again soon.
Great Day for Golf
Nicely maintained course with perfect weather (low wind, low 70's). Only issue was wet spots and mud in unexpected places.
Great Staff
Golf course is in great shape with only the 1st hole and par 3s cart path only.
Karlee, Doug and Naill offer excellent staff experience.
Now get out there and enjoy!
PS Mickey was a great partner/player and should be the course Ambassador, lol
Great Course
This is a very nice course, well maintained, staff is great, pace of play was perfect (finished in 3 1/2 hours). Price is reasonable, especially with "Hot Deals" from GolfNow.
This course provides challenges
9 holes played Thanksgiving Morning. What a great golfing special. Course plays very easy, pace was wide open first thing in the morning. Greens were slow due to dew from early morning, fairways were in beautiful condition. This course is a hidden gem.
Course in great shape
Overseeding came in and the course in wonderful condition. disappointed that there really is no practice facility but you can hit into nets for a quick warm up. For Sunday at 9:30 am it was odd that there was a men's club event in front of us but other than slower play was not to bad. Would like to play here again without the group play in front of us.
course is fair and well suited to all levels of play, although expert level players would not be terribly challenged.
Excellent and fun
For a late Saturday morning tee time it was excellent! A women's group was behind us. Greens were great, fairways excellent. Our foursome finished the round in just about 3 hours with and 1 golfer new to the sport. It was a blue bird day and 75 degrees, fantastic! Staff is really nice and helpful!
Great fairways
Great golf each time I have been there. Even though it has been cart path only, the pace of our game moved along fairly well.
Slow Slow Slower
A Marshall made a stop around hole #4 and told us the slow group in front was told to speeed up, he said he would be checking in again around hole #8 and if the group was still slow he would really straighten things out.
We never seen the Marshall again, and as a result waited every shot the rest of the round to a total of 4 hours 50 minutes to complete our round.
This is disgusting if I ever play here again it will be to soon, really disgusted have a great day!
Fun Round
This is a fun, competitive course with an interesting layout that can challenge without crippling you. Lots of grass in the roughs makes for a pleasant round during which you don't have mangle your club heads against the desert. Despite its name, this is not a links course, but it is a very good one that you'll enjoy playing.
Friendly Staff
Pro Shop staff advises 5 minutes behind schedule and starting on back 9 which was fine.
Starter Doug was excellent!
Actually we were more like 30 minutes behind and waited on the first 5 holes sadly.
The course is in great shape, still cart path only for a few weeks, as public course Doug reminded us to fill our divots and fix ball marks on the green sadly players must fix the ball mark or this will really cause a problem later on.
Visit the Links @ Queen Creek and enjoy your round!
Hidden Gem
What a wonderful place to play golf. The course is coming in nicely and the staff is so friendly and inviting. I love the vibe here.
Average
A fun course...in fair condition given time of year...ladies and higher handicap players will enjoy the layout and Degree of challenge...very friendly staff .
Very Nice Course
The course has a.great layout with some challenging holes. I would have rated it all 5s except it was cart path only due to overseeding. It was a little inconvenient and affected the pace of play. Otherwise it was a great course and I’ll definitely play there again,
Almost playable
The course recently reopened after over-seeding and us trying to increase playability through obvious and visible efforts of the grounds crew. The rough was long and soggy, the fairways striated with emerging ryegrass meaning little to no roll and the greens quite slow and bumpy. This was all to be expected in anticipation of some wonderful conditions returning in another week or two.
Sunday Morning
I played the course this morning for the first time & it was the Course first day back open, from reseeding the Course & they did a great job in two week it should be Magnificent.
Shouldn't open
I'm sure the course is great, when the grass is matured. The rough areas are garbage. Grass isn't thick enough to hold the ball off the scalped, rock hard dirt. Even fairways aren't ready. The greens are complete trash, a total joke. Should not even be played on. Slowest greens ever.
