The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Too Expensive for the course, and amenities.
Although booked on-line with paid "taxes & convenience fee" still charged taxes making the green fees more than $55.00. Too much. This course should be no more than about $40. I doubt if I will play here again until the rates are greatly reduced.
The course was in excellent condition
Having played there a few times in the past, I enjoy the course to satisfy my hunger to score well. Having had a number of major surgeries, which limit the length of. My game it is a pleasure to shine with my short game. A must for those with those problems. The staff should be complemented for their courtesy and willingness to assist in making your round a most pleasant experience.
Quick Greens
Yep they are fast.
Course is in great shape.
Always liked this course
really enjoyed round but waited on every hole on back nine. Could've used marshall to move one slow group along, although still finished in 4 hours & 15 minutes.
Beautiful greens
As good of greens and fairways you will find for the price
The Links
Starter was very friendly - setting a good tone for the course. Fairways were the best I had played to date. Greens were very nice. Pace of play was slow for a course less than 6k yards - 4 1/2 hrs.
Too bad we couldn't finish 18
I enjoyed the course. It is in great shape. A fun, forgiving layout with plenty of challenge for the mid-high handicapper. No sand, some water. Flat but attractive landscaping. No driving range but a nice deck with bar that even had a good micro brew you could try while waiting for your round to start. Too bad they were backed up and my 2:00 PM tee time was delayed 1/2 hour. As a result even with a good pace of play, darkness came before we finished . I'd play this course again.
Overbooking
Although we were told there was a frost delay we joined another couple to speed things up.
The pace of play was very slow taking 2 hours and 45 minutes for the first 9 holes (should have been under 1 hours 45 minutes, based on our past experience at this course). It's a lovely course.
lots of water
we played the back tees because it was 5800 yards (should have looked at the par 3 distance) there is a 238 yard par 3.The coarse has lots of trouble to get into.Play the tee box one up from the back & i believe it would be more fun.
good course
nice golf course had a good time
1st time at this course
The course was entirely overseeded resulting in thick but excellent roughs. The greens were immaculate and true. They were in better shape than many of the more expensive courses I've played. The staff both on the course and at the grill were very friendly.
There were no sand traps on the course but a sufficient # of water hazards to make it interesting
Perfect day at Links.
Best condition course that I have played this Winter for a reasonable price. Greens were in perfect shape and putted true.
Links Queen Creek
Staff very pleasant completed round in 4 1/2 hrs.
Pared with two other people had a good time.
Course in good condition
Nice short course
Flat would be easy to walk, no sand. Greens and fairways in good condition. Slow due to frost delay in the morning
Lijnks
I have played the course a number of times an always been an excellent experience Good staff, good playing, all around excellent everytime
Good value course
Had an enjoyable time playing at Queen's Creek. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Course is okay. Lots of doglegs. Not super long but is challenging. Blue tee boxes look like an later add on as they lineup directly into trees. If I played again I would use a combo of white and blue tees. Had a great day despite my comments and would recommend playing.
jlp
great course for any level golfer. frendly staff, i would recommend this course.
Fun course
For a player that doesn't have a 250+ yard drive this is a fun track. Quite a few shorter but tricky par fours. The greens are in great shape and run true.
Birdies to be had...if you read these subtle greens well
Course is a bit short but its fun. Birdeies are there but putting well is key. Greens near perfect. play was a bit slow this time. No 19th hole really. no cocktails and food is shutoff at 3:00 and pro shop closes early also. Pretty unusual. Clubhouse is old and needs to be redone. For an inexpensive round it is fine. People are friendly.
