The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Great Course
Very Green, Very forgiving, not a lot of traffic. Would play there again.
had a great time
Great place to play took are 16 mouth and he loved it so did we
Great Value
Had a great time with the foursome. I would play again...
Like being home
The course reminds us of the Midwest. Lots of trees and water - always a challenge. The landscaping is beautiful and the greens and fairways are great. We really like that the game is not played through peoples backyards - no houses, just golf. Overall, the course is easy to follow with the cart paths leading the way.
Hidden beauty!
This course with its pine trees and nature surrounding all holes , makes it a course you must golf at .The water gives you a challenging. Feel . I cant wait to golf there again friday ! Just an all around beautiful. Course
Nice little gem
Some of the purest greens I have played in the valley. Course was not long but a lot of fun and well worth the drive.
Good for new comer
Sometimes we were not able to make out which way the hole went, not all 18 holes were marked on course with a picture, but the guide we picked up was very helpful. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very good experience there and will probably return.
Nice course
The course was in nice shape and the greens are awesome., very fast and true. Lots of mature trees can make it challenging if you are off the fairway. They have a nice chipping and putting green but no driving range.
Awesome
Beautiful day and excellent conditions on the course.
Great condition
Course is well maintained and the staff is great. Highly recommend this course.
Good greens!
We played as a threesome and were the second group off so pace of play was great. The greens are very good right now rolled smooth and true. Only negative is lack of players repairing ball marks on the greens. Our group fixed multiple ball marks on every green. Shorlty after we tee'd off, the wind came up and blew the rest of the round. Course is fairly easy with a couple tricky holes. All in all a nice round, go play before they close for the summer. Also, if you are looking for some golf wear, everything is on sale at least 30% off.
Fun course, tough greens
This course is in great shape and the value is great. The greens were tough here and made for good challenge. All in all we had a great round. It's peak season so of course we were generally waiting the entire time.
An OK course, nothing too special.
Nothing about today's round was overly memorable. The conditions were fine; green grass in the fairways, true rolling greens, and quiet, electric carts were all nice. But nothing really grabbed me. Nothing was there that made me want to book a tee time for tomorrow.
Random thoughts: No sand traps - a good thing? I don't know. I kinda like hitting out of sand once in a while. This course went out of its way to profess that there was no sand.
Hole number 6 was the one hole that had any kind of risk/reward to offer. A nice dogleg to the right where the aggressive player can save significant yards by aiming through a break in the trees. Other than that, mostly just ho hum, back and forth, mostly boring, links style holes.
All in all, just an OK course.

Leave your driver in the bag
Short, Short, Short...played the entire day without breaking out the driver...greens wouldn't hold a wedge...although they rolled true. Not terribly impressed for the money, and I paid GolfNow pricing...I'd go back for half the price and not a penny more...the course isn't worth it, although the staff was/is very friendly and accomodating...Bravo Zulu to you.
If you play it you will enjoy
Staff is awesome. Tee box to green very good. Greens quick and true. Fun to play and challenging.
good relaxiing round with friends
the course was in great shape. fairways & greens were in the best shape of the courses we have played in the last 3 months. one reason we like this this course is no bunkers. the staff is always very friendly and the food is great there.
Gem of an executive course
Excellent condition and great staff .... Executive length course with very little desert.
First and last
Had a great day to golf with friends. No bag drop so just park and carry. Friendly staff all around and course is in great shape. Orange kids flags scattered about the course is a distraction. Dangerous back-n-forth design makes this a "no return" policy for my wife. Could have been a good course, but they needed and extra 40 acres to space the holes. No SAND TRAPS.
This is an ok course but is over-priced.
great small par 4s
They are small keep it in the fairways, you score good not in the fairway then you need to picture an escape shot ! play here you & you will see the best shape greens in the valley .trust me!
oh yea good luck trying to drive the short par 4s
