The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Nice course and roughts are grass!
We enjoy playing this course, however we were disappointed that we booked through Golfnow, and we only saved $2.50 per person after paying the Golfnow fees. Just as easy to book directly at the course. There should be a better discount than $2.50
Good test of golf
Always a good test of golf. Nice day of golf at a good pace. Would play here again.
fairways and greens
Fairways were in good condition and the greens were
very smooth and fast.
always a great time
Pace was good for mid day. Course was in good shape after rain. Everyone is friendly . Overall great place to play. Especially if you are not a fan of sand traps or excessive desert. One of my favorites to play in the winter
enjoyment on the Links
We have played a number of times over the last 4 years and find the course enjoyable and reasonable challenging. The staff are very friendly & pace of play was 4hr very good.
A jewel
Course excellent.....greens were superb, staff very pleasant and helpful
AWESOME GREENS
A shorter course, par 70 with lots of doglegs.Fairways are in good shape. The greens are smaller but very fast and true.A good value and a fun round.
fun course
Friendly Staff and. good course, nice facilities around the course.
golf now charges
I thought there were no charges from golfnow I should just book on my own for a better deal
Need some work
The fairways were not that great. Playing from the back tee's on some holes you need to trim back some of the tree's.
fun course
really liked this course - wish we could play it more often. I don't recall any sand traps which is nice, just
water hazards.
Good fairways for dessert golf
Enjoyable round, firm true greens, some tight fairways and challenging holes. Not a long course
New grass just in
It was cart path only. The winter grass was in but there were a few bare spots. The greens were hairy and slow but true. The rough was long and it was hard to find balls.
Links Review
Over ok condition was a little rough but just over seeded so expected.
Going out of business ???
Showed up to play and thought is this place still open? NO driving range. Course was in absolutely horrible condition. From tee boxes to fairways. Bare dirt every where. In fact there was as many bare spots and grass. It looked like had given up. Now it has been very dry in Arizona and apparently they close in late June for several months. Maybe if they are miracle workers they could bring back to some level of playable condition. Not optimistic.
Dry
This is only the second time I've played this course and I like the course but it was rather dry this time. Another thing they should consider is to mark the direction of the holes along the car path. Someone who is not familiar with the course might have a difficult time knowing which direction to go as I did. I would likely play the course more often except it's 35 miles from home.
Short but fun
Course conditions were fantastic, greens in great shape, all around great course to sharpen your iron game as I only pulled driver on three holes. Now, pace of play, horrible this time of year so be ready to wait, and wait, and wait, I'm sure some of this is due to how tight the course is. We had the group behind us hit into us twice, not cool.
They shut it down in June so even though its slow I would recommend to give it a shot at least once.
