The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Very short course 5700 from the back tees, condition nice pace very very slow
Over all nice place with nice folks. A few goofy holes with no landing areas off the tees from the back tees. Only down side was pace of play was very slow. 5 hours for a short course. 2 sometimes 3 groups on the tee boxes.
It's a course we keep going back to,staff very friendly and overall like it very much.
This course has a wow factor, we keep going back to it.
Course in good shape, has water hazards but no bunkers.
Staff was very helpful on a day that the course was very busy. Pace was perfect for our foursome.
as per usual, course very green and well maintained
Enjoyer our day in the sun;pace of play a bit slow, but overall a good day on The Links-a course we very much enjoy
Fun course to play
Course was a little more on the easy side as it is a little shorter.
However for those of us of higher handicaps it is fun to play.
People very friendly. I think the price could be a little less.
Good value
This course is in good shape with lots of mature trees.
Scoring should be low if you hit the ball straight. There are some shorter par 4's that are reachable with a great drive.
The greens were in great shape and overall, you get good value for your dollar.
It's a bit out of the way, but very nice course...
This course is out in the "boonies" but is maintained very well. It was difficult to finish 18 when starting at 2:44 pm but we got in 15. We were impressed by the green-ness of all fairways. This is indeed a nice course.
Why the large price difference between walk on and golf now
do not just walk on too play, book thru golf now. We were charged
43.00 per player, golf now price was 25.00
Great ladies course
On a girls golf weekend, 4 of us played 18 holes under cloudy cool conditions. Fun course for women. Not to long that we can't make par. But, challenging enough to put strategies into play. We would play again.
nice
i would play it again had fun its fine you should try it
You will use all your clubs. The blue tees make the par 3's interesting
Will bring family and friends to play this golf course. It is a short course but play the back tee's and it will make it interesting. So play and enjoy the greens and fairways.
Short, fairly interesting.
Not a great design, MANY holes require going backwards to get to the next tee, which is awkward.
From the white tees it's only 5200 yards, so to get the back tees at 5800 yards they resorted to some pretty odd tee locations, some of which make the hole unpleasantly quirky.... and I usually like quirky golf courses.
For instance, the back tee on #2, #3 and #11 are about 150 yards backward from previous green.
On #12, squeezing a back tee in makes for a weirdly difficult tee shot. With water on the right, the landing area is only about 15 yards wide.
All in all, a decent bargain, acceptable course, but not my favorite... by a wide margin.
User friendly course for mid to high handicappers.
Great deal on fees thru Golf Now.com. Pro shop staff were very friendly, was paired with a nice fellow who has played at the Links, thus helped me around. Weather was sunny but cool, course was not busy which added to my pleasure. Course conditions were pretty good for time of year, greens small & undulating. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Links and would definitely play again.
Relatively easy course but still some challenges.
Front nine was extremely slow as apparently Wed is league day. No club washers or GPS. Staff was friendly, course is in nice condition. Overall an enjoyable round.
Excellent Course
My son and I played this course yesterday and truly enjoyed it. We decided to play from the back tees as my son is a longer hitter and we were definitely challenged on many of the tee shots. You had to thread the needle so to speak from the back tees so it made it really fun. Another nice difference of this course is there are no bunkers which was wonderful for a change. I definitely plan on playing this course again in the near future. The greens were in pristine condition, not chewed up and full of ball marks like many of the courses here this time of year. If you're looking for a nice round of golf, I recommend this little gem.
great value
simple layout, no bunkers, dont remember water, greens were fast though,
Good
Course and staff were both nice. This course could be made into one of the nicest shorter layouts in the area.
Do not be fooled by the length, there are two extremely challenging par 5 holes.
I have been playing this course for about 3 years. I consider it my home course and a very good place to work on all aspects of my game.
Nice mix of Par 3's, 4's, and 5's
This course has several holes that are dog legs, both right and left. very few straight forward shots. The course may be a bit short, but there areveral holes that have risk/reward options that make it challenging. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in great shape. The greeens could be a little faster. I thin they are running about a 10.
Ecellent layout .
The course was in excellent shape. The greens rolled true plus the pace of play was excellent. This course deserves an excellent rating from all aspects.
I will play again!
