About
The Canada Course plays through forests of mesquite trees, offering a parkland atmosphere amongst a desert landscape. The natural terrain snakes through ravines and arroyos, providing several natural hazards. Considerable mounding, doglegs and elevation changes provide a varied layout, making club selection an important factor in addition to careful strategy. Golfers should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The course’s signature hole is the eighth hole, considered one of the toughest par 3s in Tucson. The hole requires players to drive the ball uphill along a narrow ridge between two Saguaro cacti, and canyons border the greens on both sides.

Good course for a good price.
The course was in good shape and we were able to get a decent rate to play. Course was busy so the pace of play was a little slow but not horrible.
A good experience
Well run, friendly staff. Course is transitioning to summer grass, still nice, especially greens (mid-fast, tricky). Bunkers inconsistent and could use a bit of work (best avoided). Piping and irrigation lines piled up around course lead me to believe a renovation is planned. Not sure if the course will be open through summer. Overall a nice round: views, little waiting, challenging. Free range balls, decent bar (when open) Canada course less challenging than Conquistador but still requires skill and planning.
Beautiful Day in Paradise
Both courses are gems and extremely challenging, beautiful and well worth it. It is a little frustrating when gaps open up between groups due to slow play when the number one rule in golf is keep up with the group in front of you. Perhaps a sign where you enter the clubhouse with this stated as well as a request to please fix your ball marks on the green plus one more will really help keep up the quality of the course.

Love the Course
Every time I have had the pleasure of playing this course it has been a lot of fun. The variety of holes is wonderful and a real challenge from start to finish. What a treat. Thank you.
Very nice course
There is only one problem with this course and that being little gravel pieces in the sand traps? When people hit out these pieces go all over the green making for some bumpy putts. Aside from this I found this course completely awesome and such extraordinary views! Will play again
Tricky and challenging
Classic desert golf with a mix of open fairways and tighter holes. Greens had been sanded about a week prior but still played fairly fast when putting.
Overall good.
Decent course for the price. Suggest bunker improvement. Too many rocks in the bunkers that are hard on wedges. Even with that, I always enjoy playing this course.
Windy But Nice Course
Wind made scoring difficult as it is a tight course with lots of elevation and fairway angles but other than that a nice course.
Good course, play it
Still early in the season and I’m sure conditions will improve, but it was still a very interesting round. Moderately challenging but fair. Houses around the course do not intimidate shots.
