El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Conquistador Course

Why is the restaurant so poorly ran? Great location but terrible cleanliness and poor stafff. The course is worth the money but it’s looking like there’s no course maintenance is a lot of areas.

Excellent practice area and the course is awesome and not that tough. If you have a challenging shot that’s risky, play up short and go for bogie.

Being from Florida’, Arizona golf was new to me. Lots of hills, beautiful views, dry hot weather was the order of the day. Course was in pretty good shape, greens a little grainy but ran true. Not real fast but a good test. The layout was really interesting with lots of curves, not so much sharp doglegs. I really enjoyed it and I hope to be back and play again. By the way, these were the friendliest staff ever at a golf course. A true joy.

Greens good, smooth and spongy, hold very well. One green sanded, not sure why. Bunkers mixed, some good, some, not so much.

Fairways are now the issue as rains have brought growth but also crabgrass, in clumps. Looks and plays bad. Not sure what the answer is for such a problem.

Always like the layout and it presents challenge and decent views, but the fairways are in danger.

All in all, I think Canada 18 is playing better.

Even though the greens there are a bit suspect at least the fairways are Bermuda grass and now weeds.

Definitely a revisit is a must. Great course and staff. Pace of play was a little slow but that’s the way it is sometimes.

Had a great time playing the course today! The three other guys that I was paired up with were friendly and fun to play with.

How can you allow the sheer number of slow players without closer Marshall supervision. The two some in front of us were stuck behind the rudest most inconsiderate players in golf who had no clue what pace of play means . The foursome actually had the gall to call Pro a shop and the Marshall because out of sheer frustration the twosome accidentally hit into them. The foursome actually deliberately drove the ball recklessly back at the twosome! The foursome should have been arrested for assault and battery! We’re they on the board of directors for the course or town politicians? …otherwise they’d be kicked off any self respecting golf course for poor pace of play. You guys need to hire alot of golf course Marshall’s if this is how you’re gonna run this course. I was considering joining the club but today convinced me to look elsewhere.

I’ve been here a few times and the views are great, the course is good but the restaurant is extremely poor. It’s filthy and it closes way too early in the day. The early close of the restaurant is probably because people don’t want to go into the filth and sticky tables.

And, they never have a #Coorsbeer when I’ve asked for one.

Get a chef and clean the place so neighbors want to come eat there. Poor , poor management.
